@@charstevens2686 I would have to disagree just because I lived this with my ex husband. for 4 years he made me feel horrible for wanting to have sex and it destroyed my self esteem and made me feel crazy when I eventually found out he was just jacking off to porn all the time and meeting other girls online... If your partner cannt communicate and discuss important subjects like sex, thats really messed up. Don't agree of course with her thinking to slip meds to her husband without his knowledge.. I thought that was maybe a joke? lol

BetterHelp is not a good place to find a therapist or go for therapy. It is not good. It's a bad sponsor. It only has a platform because CZcamsrs/influencers needing money from sponsorships so they promote the shady company.
Yea licensed therapist here. If you've had a shit experience with better help, you're not alone by a long shot. If it's worked for you, great, but I've heard more horror stories than anything good from them. Please don't give up on therapy just cause of them!

I used to work as a manager in a sex shop.. and the amount of people who came in and asked me the best way to "sneak supplements" into their partners food/drinks is absolutely insane. At first I was like "you cant be serious", but at some point I was so concerned for these people that if the person mentioned it more than once I would tell them that I couldnt sell them any supplements because I couldnt be an accomplice in them poisoning their partner. Which like.. could very well happen??? If you dont know that theyre allergic to an ingredient you just dosed them with, youre fucked. And some of them have side effects that can really fuck people up. My bestie and I made a lil deal. We'd each take a supplement meant for the opposite sex.. (which, its all the same, its just fucking marketing bc a panther makes you feel powerful and a kitty makes you feel seductive, just the same shit different animal, ya know), anyways, so his went well. I took one and in the middle of sex I had a complete and total breakdown because my vision turned *completely blue*. It was terrifying even when I KNEW it was possible. Imagine that happening out of nowhere and you dont know why because you didnt do anything different??? Youd probably think you were having a stroke or something.
Moral of the story: dont be a fucking creep, stop trying to dose your partner, have a nice lil conversation and maybe buy a sex toy.

My husband developed hyperthyroidism and I can promise I was the same as you describe, horny all the time but got no drive from him, and when we did get intimate, it wasn't as satisfactory as it'd been before... other symptoms come with it depending on his levels, please talk about it and go get some blood work done.
