I have a "rinkydink" truck 😂 its packed with tools because I beat the shit out of it on trails and "optional" lines offroad lmao its a 96 nissan pickup 4x4. I went wheeling with some new truck guys and they were questioning their decisions after watching the ol shitbox outperform their 2019 Ford with all its bells and whistles 😂
Those trucks have also been getting XP for years so they used all their XP points on tools, not lifts.

@@AshleyTommasoI drove a Honda fit and a Prius for a few years each, they both have plenty of room for Costco runs. I moved cross country in the Prius. You definitely don’t need an SUV for space. Vans and station wagons are more spacious than SUVs anyway.

I like japanese mini trucks. As you could probably tell, I have a very quirky and unique personality. Having the steering wheel on the right side of my 30+ year-old vehicle is more of a personality trait for me than a driving preference. Silly wacky paint colors and anime waifu stickers on the windows is how I show my more soft intimate side, while the unused wide-open truck bed gives off the illusion of toughness when you think about what I could haul. What am I hauling? Nothing... Nothing but dreams good vibes as I cruise down the highway. Make sure you give me a wave when you inevitably see me stalled out on the side of the road!

Lol that 13 Investigates news story is from my city, Indianapolis. That news anchor actually did a 13 Investigates story featuring me & my small dogs. A neighbor often was careless & his Pitbulls got loose. One of my dogs was attacked while I had them on leashes to go out in my front yard to do their business. They killed one of our feral cats we care for a couple of years later (we do trap neuter release & care for the feral cats, providing food & shelters). Our security cameras caught both attacks. Our story is one of WTHR's most viewed videos on CZcams. Bob Segal worked hard to get Animal Control to finally do something about the neighbor. I reported each incident immediately & sent the security footage as evidence & they didn't do anything to prevent it from happening again.

The issue is most people don't drive trucks for the purpose of hauling materials or objects like boats and so on. People just do it to be bigger which then puts all sedan users in danger. If a truck crashes into a sedan they aren't affected and the sedan is destroyed because their bumper is at head height.

When I was 6 I was thrown under a truck and it messed me up pretty bad. Im fine now of course im typing this. When it happen the truck hit me, and nobody stopped to help me, I crawled to the liquor store crying past houses in san leandro. The people in the liquor store knew me because myself and other kids would buy stuff from there in the morning and after school. The name of the building i lived in was ashland village near hesparian. The guys from the liquor store ran across the street and got some people to id me while the ambulance was coming and eventually my mom came out horrified. I spent some time in a wheel chair and the person who hit me was deaf, AND THE HUSBAND OF MY MOMS FRIEND.
So needless to say I do have a strange fear of cars and instinctively as if theyre my enemy I hate trucks that are not for commercial use. Trucks became my fire nation. Trucks are for invalids who hate children.

It's because vehicles with a gross vehicle weight over 6,000 lbs can be depreciated quicker. That's one reason so many city people have them and don't actually need them.

As someone who drives a truck, all of the truck hate is 100% valid.
But I've gotten used to being high up (I'm tall) and I feel blind when I drive a smaller vehicle.

Noel bought a truck for a reason that makes sense, the F-150 is the best selling car and the majority of those people don’t have a good reason. and most of the people who have a good reason, are driving trucks made before 2008.
and btw the dudes with the lifted trucks *definitely* don’t use them for a good reason. no way they’re loading anything into that bed on a regular basis, it’s too hard to lift that high. no way are they hauling anything because they’d have to have an extra piece of kit to even get to the height of a trailer hitch.

Main issue with trucks is they are inherently dangerous due to their large front height, and they aren't qualified as cars during production. Due to this, they do not need to be crash tested with other cars on the road. Additionally, getting hit by a truck is infinitely more dangerous due to the fact that you get swept under rather than go over the hood. This is only made worse by the fact that the front height of a truck makes it harder to see people on the road. They also do more damage to the roads, which means that construction happens more often oh, and they also take up more space meaning that we need to widen road lanes and make parking spaces larger, which means less commercial areas and walkable areas. All cars and trucks are bad for the environment oh, so I don't really give a shit about that argument, but the other effects that trucks do have on us are primarily what I care about.
