Not sure where the test is from, but it has been explored and studied that narcissism is actually linked to insecurity. So it makes sense the two things go hand in hand. But I do agree this test doesn't seem to be the best.

Lmao I scored 12 for this test, and even though it’s the classic inventory I do think it has some flaws. I maxed out vanity which was funny. I think a lot of people who have body image issues or eating/picking disorders and compulsively body or skin check would score high on vanity according to this test even though their time spent in front of the mirror stems more from anxiety rather than pure narcissism.
