Caraxes didn't kill Vhagar, the fall/impact did. From what I recall, Vhagar did more damage to Caraxes than the other way around. Caraxes was gutted and had a wing torn off before they hit the lake.

That is why even when both caraxes and Daemon died they did not died before Aemond who was kill by Darmon and caraxes who wasn’t kill immediately by her attacks.

Daemon isnt quite on that level, at the peak of his power, Daemon was a City watch commander with 2000 men and a Dragon at his command. I really hope Daenerys (in the books) develops into a tactical dragon rider. That’s something they missed in the series. Yes she rode Drogon but we never saw her use him in different ways during her war and conquest, maybe with the exemption of using the sun to hide herself during the iron fleet massacre.

That's because the Dragons are like the most expensive part of the show.
None of the battles had interesting tactics. They were routinely the worst part of the show, like a thing that just had to happen to get to the next character development plot point. (Which was absolutely amazing!)
Even the best battle, blackwater, was just "hey you know what would be cool? Fire." In a medieval naval battle? That's as basic as it gets in fact they went back thousands of years to make those tactics relevant with Greek fire.
Battle of bastards had some unique formations that was cool but the Deus ex machina completely ruined it for me. Like Sansa you idiot. Why didn't you tell Jon so he could use stalling tactics and save countless northern and wildling lives for the upcoming night king battle?
i hope she will not be insane like in the show, just let the woman win, without getting insane

I think Tyrion is going to the devil on her shoulder who turns her to the darkside to get back at his sister.

The black faction may have lost the war, but none of aegons children would sit on the throne.
They had won the war, the Lads had crush the Green, they crowned Aegon III, Aegon II was dead and from any point of view (either as son of Rhaenyra or as eldest male alive, and eldest descendant of Viserys I still alive) he was the rightful king.
indra le fulgurant well the whole point of the war was to put rhaenyra on the iron throne but it never happened. Aegon was wounded and basically dead but he still managed to kill rhaenyra. Like you said tho because they believed in only male succession aegon III still became king.

indra le fulgurant IMO aegon won the war. He died a king while rhaneyra died a princess of dragonstone. And aegon III became king before the black faction took the iron throne because the older aegon died succumbing to his wounds. No matter what happened the heir was going to be aegon. But like i said the black faction won in the sense that aegon III line died out.
Aegon II beat Rhaenyra, but he loosed to the Blacks.

One of the biggest hypocrites in the series. Great council: male succession is the shit, Visery's heir: I'm his brother, male succession is the way to go. Dance: female inheritance needs to happen (nothing to do with the fact that I married the female candidate by chance) XD
Still an amazing character that needs to make it to the screen.
That's exacly the point of Daemon, he isn't an honorable character who pledge loyalty to someone, he just do what he wanted, when he wanted.
Just like the Conquered the Stepstones and declared himself King, and then decided to leave his little Kingdom and return to Westeros because he grew bored of it.
It's quite probable that even if Daemon succeded in becoming King (For Rhaenyra or otherwise), he would grow bored of it too, since that was his way of life, he liked to war and whore more than anything, and that was the fact, in my point of view he never wanted to really rule, he just wanted glory, war, and women.
Well it wasn’t a rule that female inheritance should always prevail, the thing is Viserys had declared Rhaenyra his heiress so in this case the matter was settled. In another future cases, the male would have always the better claim.
It’s sad with the dragons extinction becuse of a family’s inability to get along and share. Also testament to the ferocity and destruction of a dragon that it is the dragons themselves who killed each other off

IMO Daemon's character was based upon that of Crown Prince Hal (Henry V) in the Shakespeare history plays, who was known for his carousing in brothels and his gang of lowly followers (of whom Falstaff was the most loyal). He abandoned this rogueish life pretty sharpish once he inherited the throne.
Daemon is more cruel and extreme but he is both ante-hero and loveable villain in the same vein as Hal. He is politically minded rather than principled like Hal. But he also displays exceptional qualities as a leader and a warrior.
Hal is my favourite Shakespeare character, so it makes sense that I love Daemon too even if I'm not meant to!

With all the success House of the dragon is getting, it would be amazing if they did Aegon’s Conquest of Westeros with his Sisters while still calling the series House of the dragon. I know it possibly won’t happen because of Budget, but their adaptation of a dance of dragons is so Good that I can’t imagine what they would do with Aegon’s Conquest!

I never understood why deamon was made to marry Lady Royce if the purpose of royal weddings are to strengthen the monarchy then that match didn't make sense viserys was married to aemma arryn so that made the vale already invested in the crown so wouldn't it make more sense to have daemon marry someone from one of the other kingdom to strengthen the crown even more

I doubt he survived. The impact of falling into the lake was so brutal, not even the dragons survived it. If Vhagar, the largest living dragon couldn't survive that, there's no way a human could.
And I think you're referring to Nettles, a dragonseed girl who ended up flying off with her dragon Sheepstealer to live in the wilderness for the rest of her days.
