Hey ya'll! Today on my channel we are reacting to some wedding shaming stories that were shared on my brand new reddit thread! r/CharlotteDobreCZcams

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

There is an update to the story of the cheating fiancé:
The girl told the bride about the cheating. The bride uninvited her and didn’t talk to her at first, but the bride called her a day before the wedding and told her that she walked in on her fiancé and sister. The bride apologised after this and they are still friends. This happened a while ago and the bride is happy now.
Thank you! How awful and crazy! Poor bride
YAY THANK U WAS LOOKING FIR UPDATE LOL
My dumbass was like did she get re-invited to the wedding? Hahaha
When you say girl do you mean OP or MOH?
We need Charlotte to pin this comment or at least make a new video with the update plz
I've gotten my 81 year old mom loving your stuff!! She giggles and says things like, "Petty potatoes" and "YES! You ARE the a**hole!" 😅😅😅
I love this ❤
🤣 THIS made my morning!! Love it!! Sending my love and best wishes your way!!
I'm almost 81 myself and I have a Petty Dad cap and a Petty mug as well. Charlotte is wonderful and a hoot!
Adorable! ❤
This is so AWESOME! Charlotte is one of my Absolute Favs too and if by some MIRACLE she's still posting when I'm 81, I'll Definitely still be watching!!! 😂😂😂
Although that's 45 years from now, so I'm not holding my breath 😂😂😂
She needs to say to the bride "Hey your maid of honor told me some crazy stuff about your future husband you need to talk to her about it asap." Then leave it up to her to tell.
The maid of honor going "I don't want to be the one to ruin their relationship!" Hunny, you aren't ruining the relationship. *He* already did.
"It is too bad that our DJ wasn't a good match for the dynamic of your wedding" is my favorite classy response 😂😂
I would have added "for your wedding brawls" 😂.
As in we didn't know that he would need riot gear😂
@@marykuettner752I would have added that into the response.
I would have added, "Maybe a psychiatrist would have been a better fit"
Yeah. Sounds like a Hell’s Angels event.
The pregnant bride story is the perfect example of the true meaning of the phrase “the customer is always right”. If the bride wants to get married while pregnant, the staff at the store have no right to express their personal opinion, especially if it’s an insulting opinion like that one. It’s the quickest way to lose a customer and get deserved bad reviews. Because as the full saying goes, “the customer is always right in matter of taste”. That owner should lose her business if that’s her attitude.
@@deannal.newton9772Whispers:(she actually says that at the end of her comment. Might want to read the whole post before commenting on it.) 😊
They said the full phrase?@@deannal.newton9772
@@shawnycoffman Sorry about that
In this case maybe but no the customer is not always right in all cases
I haven’t gotten to that part of the video yet, but your comment reminded me of my sister in laws second wedding. She was a very large 6 month pregnant with her 4th child and wore an extravagant bright white lacy dress with full veil. Her Assembly of God minister uncle sitting in the audience about had a heart attack when she stepped into the aisle. The look on his face was hilarious! He had no idea she was pregnant. 😊
I am FREAKING out because Charlotte read my story!! I'm kissameassa (I totally didn't expect her to read my username, oops! 🤦🏾♀️) Thank you for making me smile with your take on my nightmare situation!! 🥰🥰🥰
Just want to add that when I say review, I'm not talking about reviews like you know them today. The Yellow Pages had business listings and you could leave a comment. Kind of a primitive review.
Hiiiiiii!!! I’m very happy to kind of “know” who you are. I just wanted to tell you that I’m really happy for you and I love how you reacted to the situation and how everything turned out for youuu!! Your story is so beautiful! Like taken out of one of those romantic novels, and it restores a little bit of my hope in the world to read it. I was about to cry with it. I congratulate you and wish you the best, and I hope your happiness also hurts that Vicky and Robin girls like if they were stepping on LEGO pieces every single minute of every single day. 😈😈😈😈😈🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💖💖💖
@@kiwifluor706 you are so stinking sweet! I'm truly glad that I never listened to those that were against us. Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I just came here to comment the same! I love that your story was the fairytale you deserved gorgeous! I have a similar story not about bridal shopping but the end results. The best revenge is the slice of petty pie!! I have been with my amazing husband 14 years married for 6 and 2 sons later we are incredibly happy. I can't picture life without him. So glad it worked out for you in the end!
Love a full circle moment. Wedding vendors should learn to play nice. We had several that refused to help my friend and his now husband. Jokes on them, a lot of their vendors got bookings or recommendations out of it. I wish you, hubby and the little one all of the 🌞 and those trespassing b words ill-fitting bras and burnt coffee for life.
I am so glad you have had a wonderful, happy life. The best revenge is living well. I am so sorry those things were sad & done to you. God bless you & your family.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the boss for not just having the DJ's back but also writing such a beautiful reply: "Here are all the ways you, the customer, is WRONG"
The person that was told about the girl fiancé sleeping with her sister should tell the bride that “she really needs to talk to her maid of honor because she has something really important to tell her about her fiancé and sister.” Then leave it at that! She doesn’t have to actually say the personal information, but she did her part to abide by the girl code!
I actually thought that too!
i honestly though that maybe the fiance was with the maid of honor and this was how she was trying to stop the wedding.
And maybe add a disclaimer, like "Of course, I might have totally misunderstood, and it could have just been a joke or prank on me. I just didn't know, so I thought I'd mention it to you.
My mind went to the MOH also being with the groom…idk I've seen too many cheating horror stories😂
If she isn’t the one who saw it with her own eyes she shouldn’t tell the bride. She doesn’t know if the other bridesmaid lied or not.
The groom sleeping with the bride's sister - not only are the groom and the sister snakes, the maid of honor is a snake for not telling the bride. What kind of friend is that?
Right?????? OMG!!! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!??? UHHH!!! I'm the SAME species as these poisonous insects!!!!
There's a reason for the old expression " Don't kill the messenger!" The friend Always turns against the teller! I've seen it happen multiple times. The MOH, might have figured this girl had less to lose by telling. The MOH saved herself from being the bad guy. 🤫
I went to David's Bridal and asked to try wedding dresses. I asked for colourful ones and was only directed to two black ones which was so chill cuz that's what I originally wanted. But once I asked to look at literally any other dresses I was completely dismissed and treated as if a napkin covered in throw up. Watched me like a hawk but also never helped when I needed to ask a question. As in, would literally disappear if I turned and began to ask a question to someone nearby.
When I went to a different store called Formal Dresses in Lincoln, NE, she was SO EXCITED to show me different coloured dresses. Thrilled cuz she never got people who wanted color dresses. Had plenty of wedding dress photos of those who picked it out from there, so she had plenty of happy customers for that aspect. But she directed me to the sale options first and THEN the others. Best lady ever. Got my wedding dress for $425 total
I'm glad it worked out in the end. Personally, I'd love to wear a green dress because it's my favorite color. I was married before and had a white dress. It was really nice and my style, but white really isn't my color. If I ever get married again, it'll definitely be a green dress
That Vicky, Robin and the mother were jealous the whole time. Glad that the bride went on to live a happy life.

Thanks, I didn't have today's schedule! That was very thoughtful from you, bestie!
I had a Similar rushed wedding, (without all the dress drama) He had been asking me to marry him every few days for several weeks, and for my own reasons I kept saying "Not Yet." We were in love, but argued A LOT! It was never anything important, always some PETTY thing or another. April 25th 2001, we had a very heated argument, and he exclaimed "I don't think our relationship is going to last if we don't get married!" I told him I did not think he meant it most of the times he 'proposed', because if he meant it there would have been a ring! That night when I went to work, he broke his piggy bank and started counting... the next morning he went to K's Merchandise to purchase a $300 3 piece wedding ring set. Then, after work he took me to the nature walk park where we had our first date and proposed again. This time I said "Yes..BUT... we HAVE TO get married within the next month, as he had said the night before, our relationship wouldn't last due to our petty bickering. He took me to Michaels where I bought everything needed (spent $78) to make my veil, bouquet, cake topper, garter, MOH flowers, and boutonnieres the 3 men. Then he took me to Fashion Bug where I found the most beautiful Eggshell colored Pantsuit for $50, he went Thrifting and bought himself a suit and tie for $30. By April 28th all the items we made, we had our Marriage License. The groom's best friend, who is ordained, agreed to Officiate for free, and we had chosen a Couple we are bff's with to stand up as MOH and BM, and they agreed to keep it on the downlow for now. We had agreed we wanted the ceremony to be small, only close friends, since we had no family in the State. April 30th we called my dad to get his blessing, which he gave. It was amazing how everything just fell into place, We were really gonna do this! We decided to invite our 8 other closest friends to join us for a 'BYOB potluck dinner' on May 2nd 2001 at the nature walk park where we had our first date and he had proposed. We told them all were bringing the dessert! On our way to the park we stopped at Albertsons and bought a beautiful premade cake for $11, and inserted the cake topper we bought at Michaels. We had a potluck, and as the sun set we gathered everyone around the bunny statue near the tree line, and my wedding in the park went off without a hitch (other than the rather large beetle that landed on my boob mid vows, which my MOH eventually swatted away for me after a very long minute. In Total we spent less than $500 for the ENTIRE wedding (which came from coins in his piggy banks). We went from dating, to engaged, to married... in ONLY 7 DAYS. My wedding was wonderful, and I don't think months of planning or thousands of dollars more could have ever made it better than it was. I do not understand why bridezilla's exist, as long as you are surrounded friends and loved ones on your big day you should be happy. The Wedding was 23 years this week... we still bicker every day over small potatoes🥔, but it's all so petty that I can't remember a single thing we ever argued about.💞
How wonderful!
It is plain to see that you cherish these memories so very much. The genuine care and love with which you both put into your wedding was beautifully told, and I felt like I was watching each stage of your journey. Congratulations on 23 years!
It seems you are very in love. Do you wish you could stop bickering? I’ve never understood my friends in relationships where arguing is such a normal thing for them. I grew up in a house where my parents fought a lot over mostly small things. I don’t want that to be me, and I don’t want my children to be raised in a house where that is normal.
Me too, saved a bunch cash....
I felt that woman's pain. The woman who didn't feel it was her place to tell the bride about her fiance and sister hooking up, but wanted someone closer to the bride to tell her. That is an extremely difficult decision. I don't envy her.
As a wedding officiant, I can confirm that pregnant brides can look STUNNING! Any vendor, especially a gown vendor, who says otherwise hasn't been to many weddings.
I went to a wedding where the bride and groom laughed uncontrollably through the ceremony. It was weird and the minister looked pissed.
Yeah my flabbers were ghasted when I heard she said that. I can just picture a pregnant woman, glowing, wearing a beautiful gown. Some people have this revulsion of pregnant women for some reason, and I think that might be that woman's case. That and/or she's judging the timing of the marriage like it's any of her business and trying to make the bride feel yucky enough to cancel it. That woman didn't appreciate customers or money apparently.. Not surprised she went out of business!
Yess! One of my friends was 6 months pregnant at her wedding and she looked GORGEOUS!
i guess the timing of the event had to do with it bc that was a rather backwards opinion to have, that was probably more common 20 years ago.
“Soooo you’re saying you’re terrible at your job”. 😅
A good wedding dress shop owner/salesperson can make anyone look beautiful in the right wedding dress.
I absolutely love and appreciate when a boss or company has their employees backs like that. Especially with the polite “corporately appropriate” sass
Still it sounded like a hell of a party. Kind of like a WWE version of fun. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
14:55 this wonderful pregnant bride tries to have a delightful shopping experience with herself, avoiding everyone who's going to make it negative goes to the shop and still has a negative experience when things are just meant to be lmfao I'll give you I know what it feels like Chica!!!
I'm actually the bride with the terrible shopping experience and atrocious bridesmaids. I was in shock that what I tried to have as a relaxing, fun moment without the people who would add stress (my mother is wonderful, but a nightmare to shop with because she's had something negative to say about my appearance my entire life and she absolutely would have made me cry in a dress shop by commenting in her "helpful" way like "if you were taller, it might look good on you", "you should probably have long sleeves to hide any arm fat" even though it was baby weight, not fat, or my favorite "Well, you can always try to use makeup to take the focus off of all your other problem areas"... You get it). Who knew the dress shop owner would step in to complete the drama on her behalf?
The owner of that bridal shop blows my mind. I had a little clothing store and occasionally brought in prom dresses and wedding gowns. Ive had lots of lovely ladies in various shapes and sizes come to me, got measured for a dress if they wanted me to special order something for them, or got whatever i had in stock, and they all looked beautiful and stunning. It made my whole day to see them all smiling and happy with their new dresses. I cant imagine or understand how anyone could be so disgustingly opinionated and cruel
Makes me think the store owner goes to one of those churches where every little thing is *A SIN!*
@nancyomalley6286 most likely a southern Baptist church fr 🙄
I had only 2 bridesmaids for my wedding and they could not agree on a style or color but to be fair they were the complete opposite in skin tone, height, weight, hair color and personality, so getting a dress that would look good on them both that they liked was a nightmare. I finally threw my hands up and told them to get their own dresses that they liked in the colors of my wedding. Cut to the day and they both step out in the exact same style but one in a green jewl tone and the other in burgundy; they were both stunned that they somehow matched each other but got colors that complimented themselves. We all had a good laugh and they looked gorgeous. I still poke fun at them to this day over the whole thing.
Wholesome ❤
That's great! 😀 In Germany, bridesmaids and matching dresses are not a thing. Bot I've never seen a photo of a couple/bride with their friends and thought: "Oh, it's so ugly because their dresses/outfits don't match!" 😄 I love having a photo with all of my closest friends and don't care what they are wearing ...
I'm thinking maybe the bride in the first story waited so long to post a review bc she was in jail for assault from her wedding night 😂
Hahaha 😂 👍
I think maybe she was divorcing and was trying to get money back from vendors 🤷♀️
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lmaoooo that's hilarious!
😂
The "pebble in the sock/shoe" curse is an old Italian one. I love it. There's also an Italian saying, "Will no one remove this pebble from my shoe?" as a way of expressing frustration with an irritating problem/person.
"No wedding dress will look good on a pregnant bride." Eff that, one of my best friends was heavily pregnant during her wedding and she was beautiful.
...Do I REALLY have to be a high maintenance person to get a husband?? Cause these stories and the bridezilla ones make it seem that way. LOL!!!
Please, no. Most of these stories are "...and they divorced three months later."
No. I feel like I was the most unbothered bride ever 😂
It depends on how badly you want to _keep_ a husband. None of these marriages last into double digits. Most don't even make it a whole year.
Nope. The low maintenance girlies just don't end up in these stories, so you don't hear about them.
Nope, I'm a low-maintenance girl too, and today we're celebrating our 12 year wedding anniversary. He and I have been together for 19 years. You'll find someone too 😊 I believe there's someone for everyone.
The hilarity of the first bride saying that people come up to her and mention her wedding’s DJ, not the ambulance, police, or brawls… no just….”hey remember your s show of a wedding? Yeah I still can’t believe he wouldn’t play Careless Whisper.“
Also she’s mortified of the DJ not her family and guests? Displacement thy name is crazy bride.
Seriously, unless the DJ was up there exposing deep dark family secrets this def wasn't his fault 😂

I’m 70 years old. It blows me away that so many beautiful young women with perfect complexions pile on so much makeup.
That and plastic surgery. There's a "new" one trending that's called the smile surgery or something? Basically "doctors" slice the patient's face like the joker. Makes me sad.
Us golden oldies think alike! I’m 70 as well and I don’t get why gorgeous gals pile on layer after layer of makeup when they have beautiful, perfect skin. Eye makeup I get. But all that goopy stuff? No thanks!
FYI I never used much makeup, very rarely any foundation, and I have no wrinkles and nice smooth skin. Is it genetics or not using foundation? Who knows?

Daughter is getting married next Saturday. Hopefully there's no drama. She may end up on your show! Lol
Mine got married last weekend and no drama! Best wishes to you!!
I hope she has a beautiful wedding! 🥰🥰🥰
My first of 3 daughters (and first born) is getting married next February to a really great young man. Since day 1 (over 5 years ago) he has treated my daughter, Lyric like she is the only woman for him. He cherishes her so much, and honestly it is what I hope happens for each of my girls. For them to be cherished from day one, and for them to express it.
She is really stressed about the planning portion, but I did/do hair, nails, and makeup for every kind of occasion- bridal parties, quinceañera’s, proms, dances, birthday parties, eta
I can sew and alter, design, etc, I can make& arrange fresh and silk flower bouquets, etc.
I already told her I could be a professional wine spiller if necessary- though I don’t thing that will be a problem.
I just know that no matter the stresses, the planning, or anything else, she has a man who looks at her as though she is the only woman in the world.
I wish love, happiness, and great health to your daughter and the family they create. ♥️
congratulations!
congrats
Our DJ in 1974 was actually a couple and they were a blast. They were paid to play from 7 to 1 A M, but we were all still going so they stayed till the last people were leaving for free, at 3 A M. They were fabulous!
LOL omg I went to the wedding of a friend and their DJ got so hammered he was hardly able to stand. They had to physically remove him from the desk and it even became a bit of a tussle. One of the guests jumped in as DJ and gave it his all. It was both horrible and hilarious at the same time🤣 poor bride was mortified but we did our best to cheer her up with some party faves on the dancefloor.
Sadly, I've been closer to people who got mad at me for telling them the truth about their so-called family or friends. One girl was mad when I told her her bf was cheating. Another was mad when I told her that her "best friend" was talking trash behind her back. What did I get for my troubles? I got called mean, petty, jealous, bitter...you get the point. Despite my proof of both, I was called a liar and a bad friend. I'm not friends with either anymore as they both cut me off. The couple split, he left her for the side piece. The besties had a huge fight and cut ties. I have since heard that the "bride" has been trying to get in touch with me. I refuse to connect. I love it when the trash takes itself out.
"I hope that every day of my happiness eats at your soul like a pebble in your sock that can never be removed." DAYAM! That is an awesome curse.
Almost worse than the traditional "may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits". From someone who has only been near a camel a handful of times in their life.
I got one I learned from the Little House on the Prairie episode "The Craftsman"
"May he lose all his teeth but one, and in that one he gets a toothache"
The nice young lady who was told information that she shouldn’t have been told, should have immediately walked up to the bride and told her what was going on. And asked the bride if this was some kind of prank on her or something. That she was extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I would have been beyond upset and ready to ditch all of these crazy people.
honestly i would be kinda hesitent too because the girl could be setting me up to riun my relationship with the bride
@@jannahafezamr
That’s what I was thinking too. That she wanted the bride to know, but put it on some unknown girl to tell her. And that way the bride won’t “shoot the messenger,” so they say.
Exactly, she’s the one who is least invested in this group. I have to wonder if that’s why she told her…
@@ZombieQueeen
Exactly!
@@jannahafezamr but they’re barely friends, she’s the least invested person involved. There’s a part of me that wonders if that’s why the MOH told her.
This really shows a lack of integrity when the people closest to you could be misled by your omissions. It's troubling that even someone you don't know well might not get the truth because you're more focused on keeping a connection than admitting what others already know.
I heard some good advice when someone asked if they should tell their boss’s wife that their boss was cheating. And the advice was to keep it to yourself unless you are close enough with the victim that you can be there for her to help her get thru it. Why drop a bomb in to someone’s life if you can’t be there for the fallout?
I may not understand marriage, (I’m a dedicated bachelor!lol), but I do know that when it comes to someone else’s future hopes & dreams, you don’t mess around with that! Tell them if their significant other is a cheater, & don’t try ruining other people’s weddings out of jealousy or spite. It seems easily straightforward to me! I’m not the one getting married, but good luck & happy trails for those who are! I wish those people well for their future happiness together!
No one wants to ruin a wedding, but that is not as bad as letting her walk down the isle and ruin her life!
Right now, she can back out with minimal losses, it's going to be worse once they marry.
If she doesn't want to be the one to speak up, she can make a fake profile on social media and send the bride a message, she can say she overheard the maid of honor talking about it in the ladies room.
Someone, stop that poor girl before they bring kids into that disaster!!!
There was an update:
The girl did end up telling the bride. The bride was upset and uninvited her to the wedding, but then caught the fiancé and the sister together.
Wedding was canceled, the bride apologized to the girl and they're still friends.
@ZimVader-0017 Thank you for this! Thank goodness someone spoke up!
What a horrible sister she has!!! I'm happy to know that her friend spoke up, even if it put their friendship on the line for a while. Thank you for sharing this update.

I don't have a petty wedding story but a good one! My son and his girlfriend were getting married and unfortunately her mother died a few months earlier. I volunteered to go with her dress shopping and surprised her by purchasing the dress for her. Lovely wedding!
That's such a sweet thing to do. I think there's always a fear of a potential monster in law, I'm glad you weren't one and made it clear you were on her team too!
That's a beautiful story. You are awesome.
Awwww! We love this for you, bestie!!
In the 1st story Idk what the Dj was playing but the crowed obviously heard Mama Said Knock You Out!! 😂😂
The idea of shaming someone for the amount they are willing to pay for a dress my mind. Previously, I spent a couple grand on a wedding dress, had a very expensive wedding, the kind of wedding that you plan after trying to have a magazine wedding, and that marriage ended in divorce. fast-forward to my current husband and I, I spent $40 on a wedding dress and made my own flowers… I had my bridesmaids wear, whatever they felt the most beautiful and because I wanted everyone to be as happy and confident and comfortable as possible, and I spent a very small fraction of what I did on my wedding and I can tell you that you can spend as much as you want but there are no rules, don’t ever let anyone tell you you need to buy the most expensive dress and the most expensive venue to be happy!
I actually had a very similar situation like this happen to me. The dress shop employee was very passive aggressive & would mumble things about my belly bump. I paid it no mind until I heard a very clear & audible, “It’s not like ur gonna look good in it anyway,” to which I said, “Hello? Lady? Mind ur fucking business please? Thanks.” Slightly on the aggressive tone. That did the trick & she shut her ass up for the rest of the time I was there. Found a dress & married my husband of 4 years.
I'm actually the bride in the last story. I WISH I could have been more animated and assertive in my comments to her but I was literally shaking and holding back tears as I was collecting my stuff to leave. Worst shopping experience of my life. I still remember my breakdown in the car vividly. I'm so glad you put that bully in their place and that you are happy with your loving family!
Would have taken my money elsewhere and left a scathing complaint/review
@@taleandclawrock2606 Correct! Shops that don't hire or train respectful employees do not deserve your business!
@@TheMichm1221 I absolutely get it. pregnancy hormones are so unpredictable sometimes it's almost night and day. I'm normally very passive and it takes a lot to rile me up but pregnant me? I was a walking volcano, especially when I was hungry which was literally all the time. Had I not been pregnant I probably wouldn't have said anything which in hindsight sounds backwards lol. But you won't know what to do until you're there so I get it. I'm still proud of you and how you handled the situation. That review you left was absolutely deserved. Thank you for the well wishes I hope all is well with you and your family as well!
@@taleandclawrock2606 My husband actually left a review after I told him what happened because I would get so heated when I thought about it that I just couldn't do it. We both went back after our honeymoon to formally complain in person. I think she got fired because a week after they said they would investigate the matter, I hadn't seen her in the shop again. Good riddance.
To the girl who thought it wasnt her business to tell the bride about her fiance/sister affair.
I worked with a guy who got fired for drinking on the job. His wife came in and had a crappy attitude asking why her husband was fired. I told her. I didnt know her like that, but she deserved to know. She didnt believe me. Three months pass, she shows up again and told me "thank you. You're thw only one that told me the truth. You'd think you'd know a guy after being married for 22 yrs".
Moral of the story, somethings need to be said. It may not be your business, but when it could negatively affect someone else's and you know about it. Say something.

Actually, a new friend is probably the perfect person to tell the Bride she's being cheated on. If it ends the friendship, then it sucks, but not too bad as they aren't emotionally invested into eachother that much yet. If it doesn't end the friendship, then it will only be stronger, because it will be based on trust.
I would probably tell the bride that I've heard some concerning things about the groom, but since I'm too new to their social circle to make any calls on how serious to take anything, she should really talk to her maid of honour.
"Pebble in their sock that can't be removed." 👏👏👏
Honestly I can see why my friend who got married in '22 let us wear infinity dresses. We wore the color she wanted and we got to wear it however we want.
Win-win scenario for those who only want a color theme but don't have to worry about a style of dress
Edit: plus you can wear it for any occasion
I've never heard of an infinity dress but I like the idea.
@@lotstodo oh yeah they're dresses whether long or short that the top half is two long pieces of fabric that you can wrap/tie around yourself in many different styles 😊
Sounds interesting! Must Google...
Yay for your own Reddit thread!!
Wow! Not only CZcams famous, but now, Reddit famous! And to think that I want volunteered to move across from you, so I could parade around naked on my balcony. I feel like I have touched greatness.
That poor pregnant woman, I feel so sorry for her :(
I loved that last story. It had everything. Pettiness, love and a life well lived 😁
I got my tea cup ready for this wedding drama
Thanks for liking my comment Charlotte!! Love ya!!!❤❤❤
My DJ at my wedding to my kids’ mom was awesome. Only changed $400, was there hours early to set up both in the venue and lake side for the ceremony. Provided microphones for the singers, then entertained the guests before the dinner while we took photos. The exit song was Garth Brooks “Ain’t Going down ‘til the Sun Comes up” so the party was on! Paced out everything in coordination with the photographer. Then stayed until 1 am and the dance floor was packed all night. Even organized a Congo line to move the gifts to the cars to take home. Best guy ever, but honestly the best part of the wedding and best memory. Who i married to was not.
I just have to say that I love that you referred to her as your kids mom... it's such a small thing but it definitely shows you are respectful despite whatever transpired
@@de5072 always going to be my kids. We’re not friends, but I love my kids. There is a lot of negative history, but I loved her dearly once upon a time. The DJ was a true positive of the day. Sadly she wasn’t that way with me until she remarried, he was a good influence on her, unfortunately he passed over a year ago. She started slipping back, but since my kids are adults, I don’t have to be involved anymore.
I love how Charlotte stands up for the underdog and petty wins the day every day! Queen Charlotte has spoken! LOL! Love you!
The last story is the creme de la creme. "kissamemesassa" I would not mess with this woman, she curses that her happiness is a "pebble in your sock that cannot be removed." She is the Queen of Curses 😁😎
A witty woman!
I secretly adore her 'name' 😂 😘.
I'm actually kissameassa and it cracked me up how many people never ever realized my name because they typically don't say it out loud! A Twitter friend sent me a gift but didn't know my real name but had my address from something else we did. My mailman didn't want to deliver it at first because he thought it was a prank or something dangerous. He's super sweet and I had to inform him that it was my online name. He called me kissa from then on! 😂
@@TheMichm1221 that is so sweet, thank you for sharing. Hope this message finds you well, and have a great day!
One of the many things I love about our Petty Potato Queen is that she treats us ALL like we're her real besties.
She clears her throat, burps, trips over her tongue, and laughs at herself when she messes up a sentence or title in a funny way. ❤❤❤
For all we know, she could even be doing a one cheek sneak of "lady gas" and we wouldn't care. She's that real.
She's just herself without some fake azz onscreen persona.
Much Love to you, my Petty Queen.
And Much Love to my fellow Petty Potatoes!😘💖🫂🐾🐾
EXACTLY!!! She’s so real for this, and I love her!! 😂
Great description of our 🥔👸
lovely poem 🦅🦅🎀
Well I'm pretty sure I remember her doing some lady gas on one of her videos!!😂😂😂😂
Girl who found out about the affair knew EXACTLY what she was doing. She didn’t tell. THE INTERNET told. We can all play that game.
'Texting was new' immediately gave me flashbacks lmao
We need merch with "MY FLABBERS HAVE BEEN GASTED" on them 😂😂😂
Yes!
Thanks for the pick me up. I got laid off last week and my dad didn’t invite me to Vegas to for a hokey game this weekend but took my brother. He knows I’m into hockey. Oh well. Thanks Dad
Many hugs ❤❤❤ hopefully karma will do its job
I hope you get an even higher paying job than the last and that you get to see as many live games as your heart desires! Sending ✨ and positivity your way!
May they find a rock in their shoes that they can never get out!!! 🫶
Charlotte chillin like a villian
That curse was great! When I heard it though, I couldn't help but think, "Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow..." 😆😆
The one where the MOH told the new friend about the groom sleeping with the sister it's because the MOH really wanted the new friend to tell the bride. Also, two weeks out they could get some of their deposits back.
I have this image in my head of Kissameassa sitting on the couch petting a cat named Petty while checking their Facebook pages to see how miserable they all are now 😂
😂 I have three cats but none of them are named Petty. I'm kissameassa and now I have to convince my husband to let me get a kitten named Petty!!!
You have a way with words, both in your reddit handle and your parting curse. I'm glad you have had so many days of happiness.
@@TheMichm1221 I'm so happy for you!! Get that kitten queen!!
In regards to DJ: We went to a wedding where the DJ rushed through all the Disney stuff the couple had requested, thinking it was for the kids, then for the rest of the night proceeded to play sad and break-up songs eg; Hello by Adele. Our friends were not impressed. But they didn’t get a choice in regard to the DJ. He came with the venue…
The audacity????
As a DJ, that is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. He should have respected your wishes and created a memorable event for you. Where I live, they would send the DJ home and get someone else, yes, in the middle of the wedding. Very sorry for your experience!
@@djshockafrica4330 just to clarify, not us, but our friend’s experience. We had an amazing DJ for our wedding. The issue with our friend’s wedding was that it was a family run venue and the dJ was the owner’s nephew who was getting into dj’ing… still not great really.
I was 4.5 mos pregnant, just turned 22 (days before my husband did), and we were both in the military when we married. We've been married almost 27 years now and have 3 amazing kids and a son in law. ❤
My ex and I got married while I was pregnant.. My dress was amazing in every way and my consultant was so wonderful when helping me pick the best dress for my ever growing belly. I was so incredibly grateful. Though we aren't together anymore, we are still incredible friends and I look back on that day fondly and still have the dress!
DJ: This is the LAST time I play "Eye of the Tiger" at a wedding.
I was thinking more of "Firestarter" 😂
Good Morning Petty Potatoes! ❤ Long Live the Potato Queen! 👸
Did the DJ play Freebird? 😂
Population of Petty is 1.84 Million.
Nearly at 2 million 🥔s 🫡
My mother was 8 months pregnant with me when she and my dad got married! She was in white lace from head to toe! My dad was in a baby blue tux 😂 (it was the ‘70s) and they had a full on big, formal, wedding! The pictures are hilarious! They divorced before I was a year old. I still love the photos, because they are so ‘70s and my mom is soooo pregnant!! You guys, she was completely covered! From her chin to the tips of her fingers. It was crazy funny! 🤣
The ‘pebble in the sock’ gives the same vibe as ‘may you live in interesting times’ and I love it
I can relate to Kissa I married at 17, had 4 beautiful boys, all have families and I am a grandma to 11 and a great grandma 4 times over. I'm still married to the same wonderful (if extremely frustrating) man 53 years later. We met at a local coastal small theme park in the UK, he was from Liverpool and in the Navy and I was still at school.
Pebble in their sock that can never be removed is certainly a horrible curse, another one I know is " may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotch and may their arms be too short to scratch".🤣
I'm so remembering that one! 😂
24 years and 4 kiddos later 🥰
Love that!!
My older sister got married while five months pregnant and you know what anyone said about that? Jack shit. She was happy, her fiancee was happy, her family was happy. She looked gorgeous in her dress (which I did mild alterations to) and had a wonderful day getting married to the love of her life. The only thing said about her pregnancy was that it was unfortunate she couldn’t enjoy the nice champagne they had, which she didn’t care about a bit about.

Idk how accurate, but I saw a poll with a bunch of people on Twitter with a similar question. Would you tell your best friend if you knew her bf was cheating on her.
SO many people said no. The percentage was like over 80%.& alot of people responded with "it ain't my business". Like what?! I don't care if it is frowned upon by lots of people I'm telling them because I'd want someone to tell me.
You're made a fool of walking around with people knowing. It's embarrassing and such a waste of a life being with a cheater when you could be with a faithful person.
In the first story, maybe the wedding guests wanted the Dj to play, "Everyone Was Kung Fu Fighting".
Or that old standard, "Feudin', a-fussin' and a-fightin'!".
My brother and sister in-law hired THE BEST dj!!! They gave him a list of music so I wasn't expecting more than just him playing the list of songs.... WRONG. Most of the people who attended were dancing and it was honestly 🔥🔥🔥
Not the typical wedding music 🎉
While I was married via the courthouse, a few months later, I had the church wedding. I was pregnant at that time. The ladies at the bridal shop were awesome in helping me pick a dress that would sort of hide my baby bump.
I love the fact you are known everywhere as the potatoe queen 👑❤
If my maid of honor had found out my fiance had cheated on me AND was willing & wanting to do it again... She would one million percent tell me. I'd be getting a call from jail like "hey bestie, you gotta come bail me outta jail. Oh why did I get arrested? Ummm... I fckd up your EX fiance, slashed his tires, broke his windows... Oh and he's been sleeping w so and so.... Yeah they're in the hospital now and I'm being charged w assault. Potentially attempted murder bc there were knives involved..."
Ya know what I mean... Like there would be no questions, she would tell and help me plot my petty revenge. Period.
You’re so spot on about people pleasing while wedding planning. I made everything as easy and low stress as possible for everyone in my life. 😅 8 years later and we still wish would have used the money spent on the wedding for a fun trip instead.
"It is too bad that our DJ wasn't a good match for the dynamic of your wedding" - The. SHADE. 🤣🤣🤣
The first wedding sounded awful for the DJ. Brawls, people carried out on stretchers, and the police called. If I was the DJ, I’d call my company and update them as to what is happening. I also agree: if this poor DJ was as bad as the bride represented, why did she wait a year to complain; plus, she mentioned in her review that in the interim “family” members complained about the DJ. Interestingly, she didn’t complain at any time a family member complained. The bride’s non-family guests didn’t seem to complain. I called bill-doo doo on this bride.

We say "Hello Petty Potatoes". Repeat after me; Hello Petty Potatoes. Learn the difference already!!!!
Morning darling, good to see you as always. I got some tea 🫖 🍵
Salut tata comment vas tu aujourd'hui 😊😊
Good afternoon its 5pm here in Scotland xx
Good evening fellow potato 🥔
I found this channel a week ago, and I have been binge watching/listening since then, especially when I'm driving. You are lovely and hilariously sassy, and I love this channel. Thank you for being awesome and giving us THE TEA.
The bridal shop owner sounds very unprofessional and rude to you. My editor self needs to add that it is Empire waist, not Empress waist, that you wanted.
Omg I was pregnant both times i got married. The first time straight up was because I was pregnant. The second time the wedding was already being planned then we found out i was pregnant. Neither time did anyone, dress place, family, friends, etc said a single word about me being pregnant getting married. At least not to my face, everyone knows i have a severe temper lol. The fact that the person selling the dresses had the balls to say something like that just wowwww. I'm glad that her place went out of business. Seems deserved to me. Also might I say, i hate i mean hate people that try to break up couples or hate on someone's happiness. On the bright side they're always the ones that end up miserable lol
It's called "Karma".
First story is crazy, and apparently the DJ lived rent-free in her head all that time.
Second story, that MOH is really not honorable. She should definitely tell the bride. That friendship will end when the bride finds out about her (now still) fiancé, and figures out the MOH didn't tell her a thing.
Last story, Vicky and Robin never learned from their toxic behaviour, and now it looks like they're single for life. With pebbles in their shoes they can never get out 😆
Recently found your YT channel and am now hooked!
I love your comedic style with a solid dash of real humanity and empathy
Awesome news about the reddit thread; congrats!
Keep up the amazing work Charlotte! My hubby and I love you! He's always asking for the tea ☕
19:47 Slightly upgraded version is the classic "I wish your floors were made of Lego"
They say the best revenge is living well, but to that, I say the better than best is rubbing it in the faces of those who gave you crap and tried to ruin everything for you.
I think my craziest wedding story was when I got back at my prankster uncle at my cousins wedding (not uncle’s kid).
I got with my cousin and his bride and both of them had been victims of this uncle’s shenanigans so they were all gung-ho for it. During cocktail hour at the reception; cousin, his wife, their wedding party and I all snuck out and decorated his car to look like Jack and Rose on the bow of the Titanic (Uncle hates that movie with a passion). Since we had planned it all out and practiced decorating my cousin’s car, we were ready in ten minutes.
Then, during the reception, we had the DJ call Uncle and Aunt up to the dance floor for…a little dance. They go up and the DJ played “My Heart Will Go On.” We were all belting along.
Aunt was dying of laughter while my uncle looked around shouting “Who did this?!” I just waved at him. Afterwards, as we were leaving, we heard my uncle yell “What the HELL?!” as we were loading up the car.
My aunt told me later that my uncle’s face was priceless.
Pregnant bride story. You don't insult potential customers. Every girl gets treated like a princess and every lesbian like a queen.
JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! 🤣 I wonder if kissameassa is Irish, because that sounds like an Irish curse lol
I'm actually African-American but my sweet, darling husband is Irish-Italian. 😉
In the case of the second story, there is always the chance the Maid of Honor is lying and trying to stir shit but goes through the OP so it couldn't be traced back to her ("Oh no, I didn't say that to her) OR she wanted the OP to do it so she didn't have to look bad to everyone.
Oh em gee. That last one. Totally got chills when she said 24 years and four happy kids later. That was so good!
Marriage is a beautiful union where two souls come together to share a lifetime of love, companionship, and support. A wedding is a joyous celebration of this commitment, bringing together family and friends to witness and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the couple's lives.
This Vikki will always have my friends back and I'm not afraid to speak up in defense of my friends unless they're being disgusting. So shame on that Vicki! Good for the bride for being strong and defending their self! I love strong queens and will defend meek queens when needed ❤
