I love new wave, just received it yesterday! Its lovely on you! Can't wait to wear it today, its my new favorite!
I've been reaching for it more and more, but it's an unexpected favorite. I loved how incredible it looked on all the models! It's really a shade anyone can wear.
I have seven lisa lipsticks, a selection of all formulas. With regards to a favourite.. it’s a tie betweeen velvet beauty and rainbow spill.
Oh, both of those are such great colors. Lipstick is such a transformative makeup item, especially these ones from Lisa. Nothing wakes my face up more then a layer of Rainbow Spill.

SkyScraper Rose is my fave, I have been resisting with buy more lipsticks but I will have to give in - WonderWheel looks stunning. This was very helpful- thank you😘

So I bought Velvet Blush Lightly and New Wave and I love both of them. Blush Lightly is going to be a go-to, I can tell. I'm amazed at how great the formula makes my lips look! Will definitely try some of the lucient lipsticks next. ❤️

I'm curious about Rosy Shell, Dance Card, and Go Lightly (which I heard she was going to release again) because I do not have them.
Love of My Life and Wonder Wheel are my most used this summer.
I really have been enjoying New Wave! It's so much fun.
I don't have Rosy Shell. It's too light of a pink for me. It's one I probably won't pick up. I have Go Lightly, and will swatch it with all the coral/peach shades. It's really a vibrant lipstick.
I've really been enjoying Love of My Life and Wonder Wheel this summer too.
Velvet Blush is a fave of mine but I'm more med olive ...I love it as a blush too. Thanks for your interpretation of LE pinks.
Not that I have a favourite pink. There's a Mac one pigeon pink that cheers me up every time I wear it. But LE's Skyscraper Rose could be an absolute fave. Such a really sophisticated pink which also gives me such pleasure to wear.
I wear so many of these on a regular basis. I don't reach for other pinks from other brands much. I don't know if that's because I'm partial to Lisa's formula or it's these specific shades. 🤷♀️ It's probably both. My favorite thing about Lisa's lipsticks it's how nuanced and different the shades are.

Love this (and your LE reds video as well)! Thank you so much for these. I only have two Lisa Eldridge lipsticks, Rose Official and Painterly. Of the two, Painterly is my favorite. Rose Official does well on me, but Painterly is so much more nuanced, as you say. I have a lot of mauve and plum in my natural lip color, and tend to love medium-deep berry-brown colors the most but I am yearning to branch out so this video was super helpful. I have been eyeing Velvet Muse for such a long time, seeing it here has put it right smack on my "to buy" list. A very "me" shade; Also Wonder Wheel for a bit of fun, watermelon-y brightness. The shade here I was most surprised by is Velvet Blush -- so very beautiful on you! I think I could wear that one too. Thanks again, Rebecca, I enjoyed this so much.
ETA that two of my most favorite berry-brown lipsticks besides Lisa's Painterly are Habibi from Huda and Flesh 7 from Pat McGrath.
I'm delighted that this was so helpful to you. It took me a long time to purchase Rose Official because of looked so basic. I should've just trusted that it would be good because everything else from the brand is. Now, it's one of my favorites. I reach for it so much.
I was surprised when I saw all of these shades lined up next to each other. They were so different. Some didn't even look to be pink. That's what I love so much about how she creates colors. They're wildly different from other brands, and yet all still so wearable.

@@lizkrusenstjerna2149 ooh, I don't have anything from Hiss's lip line. Maybe it's time to change that. I really love Pat's colors, but I'm not a fan of the formula at the $40 price point. It's nice, but not that nice. (In my opinion)

I need to wear it more. Velvet Jazz often gets overlooked in my collection because I love a bright red.

They look so amazing on you! I don't get along with them at all. I have Rose Official and Velvet Blush lightly in lipstick and liner. Rose Official is such a great office colour, but it dries/drys (?) out my lips and doesn't last long. It's ok. Velvet Blush Lightly: The liner is much more tomato orange-red in colour than the lipstick - hate that. I have tried to make the lipstick work for me for weeks. The colour should be perfect for me. But the texture makes my lips look aged/"aunty" and it feels uncomfortable. I constantly flick my tongue over the lips because it feels soooo dry. I have to wear a high shine lipstick underneath to make it NOT look chalky and flat matte... But I seem to be the only one, so there we go! :-D I am sticking with Givenchy's and Guerlain's velvets and satins, they are divine.
I'm sorry the LE Velvet Matte's aren't well suited to you. I really like them. Now you have me curious about the Guerlain and Givenchy Velvets and Satins. I've been trying more luxe lipsticks recently, and I'm very curious about these brands. I only have one very old Rouge G lipstick from Guerlain and nothing from Givenchy. Time to change that!
I struggle with luxury brands that I can't swatch in store. At the over $40+ price point, I want to love every shade and every formula I purchase. It's hard because my Sephora is smaller and doesn't carry either of these two brands in store. I don't have a Nordstrom close by, and my Macy's doesn't sell anything other than fragrance from these brands. I'm terrible at making returns via mail, so whatever I purchase, I own. I'll have to do some research and see if I can find a shade that would be a good edition to my collection. If you have a favorite shade, I'd love to know.

@@thelipstickgal Same for me, I couldn't swatch the colours myself and was really reluctant. None of the stores in my area carry all the colours. But there are regular sales in some online shops and I mainly went with those. My favourites are Givenchy's Sheer Velvet No. 16 Nude Boisé (my lips but better nude rosewood), Deep Velvet No. 37 Rouge Grainé (intense red with blue undertones).
From Guerlain it is the Luxurious Velvet Metal in No. 530 M Majestic Rose (to me it's a blood orangey/strawberry red, uplifting and not too metallic) and 1870 Rouge Imperial Velvet from the legendary reds collection (neutral intense red). Have a great day!

These pinks are my most reached for. I hardly ever wear pinks from other brands. They never look as good as these. 🤷♀️

I love your too 3. I don't have many of the glosses. I only have 2 they're the ones I picked up when she launched the forums, and I just don't reach for them much.
I don't think I'll pick up Rosy Shell. It's just not the type of shade i wear. To light, and too pink. I might grab Velvet Carnival because I've been enjoying New Wave so much. 🤷♀️ It's not a top priority, but it's on my list.
I do think I'll probably pick up Sunday Matinee. I initially thought it was too light, but it's probably one I'd reach for a lot. I couldn't pick up 10 new shades at once, so I opted for the 8 I thought I'd use the most. I have been wearing the new releases non stop this summer. I'm so delighted with the shades I did purchase.

Thanks for watching. I didn't think pinks looked good on my until I found these. I'm not trying to convince you to get any, just communicating my astonishment that I found pinks that I actually enjoy.
I will occasionally pick up a pink lipstick, and I'm eternally disappointed. Somehow these ones are formulated perfectly, and the shades bring life to my face as opposed to making me look strange, or sick. So many other pink lipsticks just looks strange on me. 🤷♀️

Thanks!! This was uber-helpful and really helped me understand why her intense pinks are a no-go for me. Now, I'm jonesing for Velvet Muse. I have her Muse lipgloss and love it. I discovered that on my VERY mauvey lips, her lighter, brighter pinks turn HOT PINK (not a good look for a fair-skinned woman with silver-white hair!). I sadly had to return Palazzo as it turned VIBRANT FUSCIA on me in a matter of minutes, even with a very light-handed swipe. I've found Painterly and Meet Me in Berlin (oddly) are my best "pinks." I do a light swipe and my naturally dark mauve lips do the rest! PS Do you think Lisa will come out with new shades in the autumn with another nifty Christmas velvet tote?
Palazzo always looked so rusty to me that I avoided buying it. Your comment makes me very curious as to how it would look on me!
Me, too! That’s why I ordered it, because I thought it had enough of that rusty tone in it to help neutralize the mauve-blue in my lips. But alas, it didn’t have quite enough of a brown nuance to counteract my aggressively deep wine colored lips. When I was a little girl, one of my teachers sent me home and told me to tell my mother to take the lipstick off of my lips! As you might imagine, I wasn’t wearing any. 😆
I never really think about how a natural lip color can ultimately change the shade of lipstick. My lips aren’t terribly pigmented, so what I get on my lips very closely mirrors what I see in the tube. I’m sure that if I had more pigmented lips, colors would show up differently on me.
I’m so sorry palazzo didn’t work out for you. It’s one that I’ve been wearing so much, but I love a red lip! Meet me in Berlin has been one I’ve been wearing a lot also, and Painterly has always been a favorite.
I hope Lisa will continue to release new shades of lip products, and I would really love a fall/winter release. I’ve got my fingers crossed.

I am so surprised I own so many LE pinks. This is the category that suits me the most. I have Rose Official and Love of my life. And from the velvets I have them all ; Petal, Muse, Beauty, Blush lightly, Blush. And from the insanely saturated only New Wave. ( but I have Sunday Matinee also, to me also a pink, very similar to velvet petal)
I wasn't interested in Sunday Matinee until someone else mentioned it was similar to Velvet Petal. I LOVE Velvet Petal! I'll probably pick it up during my next order. I really love how unique all these pinks are. Thanks for watching!

So many lip products look orange on me, even when they're pink! I bought Muse lip liner, which says it's a smokey rosewood shade, and sure enough, it looks orange on me. Will resist buying any more LE products! :(

Pinks are not my favourite either, but my skin tone beg to differ🙄😆 Pinks always look the best on me unfortunately.
I think that's interesting. My dislike of pinks comes from having too many makeup ladies foist the wrong shade of pink on me for decades. A white based pink, a baby pink, a bright Barbie pink. They were never beautifully nuanced shades like the ones Lisa creates. I have to completely reassess my dislike of pink lipstick now that I have so many lovely ones from Lisa that I reach for all the time. I've discovered that if the tone is right, I also look smashing in pink.
I would love to see Velvet Petal compared to Sunday Matinee 🩷🌸
