I agree ☝️ I have a weakness for lipstick too. I think it’s because my mom used her lipstick as a blush too. And she had so many beautiful colors but she only had about 12 colors that she truly loved. Appreciate the swatches. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week.

Oh my goodness these are beautiful shades Tamara! I think my favorite is Sunday Matinee as I like mattes but they are all gorgeous. I'm suprised that even the darker shades aren't too dark and look so pretty. I wish it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get them in Canada would definitely be picking some up. OMG, Tamara! That Strawberry Shock shade is simply transformative on you! Youthful and lively but also just incredibly, almost poignantly graceful. I also loved Wonder Wheel on you. I have four of the LL shades in my basket on Lisa's website, Wonder Wheel, Meet Me in Berlin, Palazzo and Night Thoughts. I don't know whether I will be able to purchase them, but I sure do want to. Like you, I wear lipstick nearly every day, even when I'm not wearing any other makeup or doing anything special. My current Lisa favorite/go-to is LL Painterly, which is a gorgeous medium plummy brownish shade that I think you would really like considering your love for Meet Me in Berlin and Night Thoughts. Loved this video, it made me really happy to watch you play with these new lipsticks from Lisa, thank you so much for sharing!

My favorite is the coral shade, deeper one called night, not sure if they would look as good on me as they do on you. I do tend to go with brighter colors, and i wish I had the money to try them all! (The neutral lipstick is the only one I wouldn't try, I already have one I like from another company).

The Luxuriously Lucent formula has a pretty sheen and comes in 14 shades! Pinks would look so pretty on you...Love of my life is a cool bright pink with blue in it, Rose Official is a cool Rose Pink, and I am loving her new Je Ne Sais Quoi for a softer medium neutral pink...and Wonder Wheel! So bright and juicy and pretty. For more my lips but better I love Painterly and Spirited Away. Super easy to wear. I love all of them! The Velvet Mattes and Insanely Saturated formulas are great too! You can always apply lightly and sheer them out with gloss. Also she has beautiful lip glosses!

Thank you! As far as the wear...her Velvet Mattes and Insanely Saturated Formulas are both quite long wearing...they sort of stain the lips as well so even when they wear off it is graceful. I would say somewhat transfer resistant but not transfer proof. The Luxuriously Lucent Formula is a creamier formula with a satin sheen...so not long wearing or transfer proof...but super easy to swipe on and touch up because they are so buildable.

They’re gorgeous on you. Something I noticed is the last time I ordered LE lipsticks, they were 24 USD, so they’ve definitely gone up in price (34 dollars a piece now, I believe) which is just too expensive for my wallet. Maybe there was a discount when I ordered or a sale. I’m sticking with things here in the US for now. And that pains me because I adore her lipsticks! Elizabeth Arden has discontinued one of my go to shades and the LE Je ne sais quoi looked to be a good replacement. The prices and shipping charges are steep. Unless the order is over 75 pounds the shipping to canada for a lipstick is 35 pounds. That ends up about $110 CDN for a lipstick. I think I'll keep searching for a brand on this side of the pond.
I ordered 3 lipsticks and 1 lip pencil = 200 CAN including import txes and handling fees from DHL. Shipping to Canada is free when you buy for a certain amount.

Lipstick almost always look great against my skin, but anything with orange-orange red makes my teeth look so so very yellow. Anything pinkish mauve-ish makes them look nice and white. First time viewer, very relevant content.
I like the brighter ones best. Hate to know what they cost here in Australia ?!!

This has nothing to do with the shades mentioned above, but I know you like Velvet Muse, which is a favorite of mine. I don't know if you have Velvet Petal, but if you do try putting velvet petal on your upper lip and velvet muse on your lower lip and mix. It makes the most beautiful color. Then I line it with a Victoria Beckham lip liner #2. It is gorgeous! I think you would like it. The velvet petal, as lovely as it is was always a bit too pink for me and the velvet muse could look too brown at times. Together they are perfect!!

I ordered 3 of the LUXURIOUSLY LUCENT LIP COLOURS and I guess for my aging lips they travel into my lip lines, I’m 68, does anyone have that problem? I was hoping I wouldn’t need to use them with a lip liner. I have several of her mattes but they are too drying on my lips so that’s why I had purchased the Lucents. Love all the colors I have. All those looked so pretty on you.💄💄also love your swatches. I use to store them with the name showing but I think that’s what caused one to break in the tube, she has excellent customer service, they replaced it after I sent them a picture.

Well, great minds think a like. I'm a new CZcamsr and just ordered some more Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks that I was planing on doing a video on. I was amazed at how good some of the more difficult colors looked on you. How are you going to decide which color to wear each day? She is a wizard with colors.

Love your videos on the LE lip line. Makes me want to buy some, though the $$ is steep. I’ve heard some comments that the lipsticks are fragile and easily break. Have you had any of those issues or heard that?
Thank you Patricia! I have heard that about the lipstick as well...but I personally have not experienced any breakage and I have 23 of her shades in all formulas. One tip is to store them right side up (which is a pain because you can't see the label). and also I am pretty careful during application not to roll the bullet too far up.

When you go to the Lisa Eldridge website there is a drop box in the upper right hand corner where you can select the country.

Does the Lucent finish have any type of shine or sheen? I do not like matte or velvet formulas on me.
The Luxuriously Lucent Formula has a beautiful sheen and feels great on the lips!

My gosh it’s so hard to say Je Ne Sais Quoi is such an easy color and one of the few corals I like…and Sunday Matinee such a soft, easy pink..my fav brights for summer Wonder Wheel and Strawberry Shock. I’m super excited about Palazzo it’s a perfect red and I can’t wait to wear Night Thoughts this fall. I love them all LOL
