Loved this Dez! I had Velvet Ribbon but never wore it and gave it to one of my daughters friends...now I sort of wish I had it for the Holiday Season. BUT I do have Palazzo Luxuriously Lucent which she released last summer...it's a bit more wearable and it's my Holiday Red this year! 💄❤💄

I like to see Lisa's lipsticks on you because I think I'm also shade 14 in her foundation, so it helps to get an idea of how the colours look like. I have Beauty, Blush Lightly and Sorcery and I love them all. Beauty looks a little brighter and cooler on me. I still want Blush and Pompadour, although Pompadour seems similar to L'oreal Rose Activist. Have you seen it maybe?
What about wearability? How often do you have to reapply? Do the lipsticks transfer easily?
Good questions! They only last until I eat, but I find that’s the same with all lipsticks I find. Even the liquids lose pigment In the middle so you’re left with an outline only. They do transfer but that doesn’t worry me.

I only have 1, the Velvet Pompadour, and I do like it, but honestly I can't often tell one from the other, I tend to grab what's nearest. Mind, Lisa Eldridge products are such good quality - I bought a NYX one recently, and there was so little pigment.
Pompadour is the lipstick that arrived today. Was wondering whether to buy the pencil. You looked stunning in ribbon. Hope yr wearing it more now

I bought Velvet Fawn when the lipsticks were first released. I wanted Muse but it was always sold out. Fawn was too pale and the texture didn't work for me at all. It looked and felt like chalk. I kept it for awhile because there were so many raves on social media but finally ditched it. I am in the minority of beauty lovers who are neither tempted by her products or worship at the altar of her techniques.
Oh that's a shame. She does have different types of lipstick but when you're buying online it is a punt. The only product of Lisa's I haven't fallen in love with is the eye palette, but that may be because I made a bad choice of colours.
