I think Lisa is a genius, especially with color understanding. I want all the neutrals.

I hate nudes on most people. There are some skin tones that can pull them off. But somehow Lisa nailed the perfect nudes.
Lisa’s lipsticks are the only luxury lipsticks that are worth the money. Because of how she understands undertones and creates colors. All of the shades looked incredible on you. I especially loved Decade with your coloring.
B.b. Gun - I must say I also love the nudes from Mented and I got a fantastic one from Natasha Denona. None of them have this beautiful texture and appearance though!
I agree 100 % Normally I don’t recommend high end luxury lipsticks they are not worth the extra cost but Lisa’s lipsticks look amazing on everyone no matter your skin tone. Her extensive knowledge as MUA really shines through with her lipsticks. Hopefully she will continue to add more products to her line in the future.

Congratulations on your brush collection 💜! Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are so different and worth the cost the luxury cost. I am little nervous about the darkest color but she did great job in her “how to make dark lipsticks wearable” video showing how to use it.

All of these colors are gorgeous on you. I think Lisa Eldridge is a color wizard. She nails undertones and color in general. I didn't pick up any of them because they are matte but I love the colors.

So excited to see your review. I received my order today as well and am just in love with the two that I picked up, Velvet Muse and Velvet Myth. They are just gorgeous. After watching Lisa’s video on how to wear darker shades, I also picked up Velvet Decade. The formula is amazing and feels like nothing on the lips.
I got Fawn, Muse, Decade, and Midnight. Loooove them! The dark colors are out of my comfort zone, but I’m so excited to use them. Midnight looks stunning on you!

All these colors are stunning on you, and you are so right about the glow from within that all of them have!! My favorites on you were Decade and Myth. Both just AMAZINGLY flattering. Midnight is unique. I've never seen anything quite like it and I think it MIGHT be the rare purplish undertoned lipstick which will look good on me too.

I didn't get the Blue Velvets, only the new ones. I really hope she releases the Blue ones again and in a BLUE VELVET POUCH! :) As for the shades I bought, I've found that Fawn is very close to MAC Velvet Teddy/WnW Bare it all, Muse is close to Nyx Liquid Suede in Soft Spoken and Jordana Easy Liner in Tawny and Decade is close to Colourpop Grunge.

My package came today containing the 4 shades that I purchased. I knew that I would LOVE three of them immediately, and I was right. Decade was the one that I took a risk with based on her video, and OMG... patted onto the lips creates my almost perfect lip shade for day, and swiped on from the bullet will transition it PERFECTLY to an evening look! I love these lipsticks so much!

Erika G Decade is my favorite. I tried them on today and they’re all gorgeous. But my favorite thing is to mix them.
I first mixed myth and decade, it created the most beautiful color.
I then added a satin red lipstick on top of that combo (Fenty poutsicle juicy in hot blooded) and it created the most stunning wine/sangria lipstick I’ve ever tried. And I have a ton of lipsticks in that color. But this is by far the best. The fenty lipstick is on sale at Sephora right now.
B.b. Gun Ohhh I haven’t even thought about mixing them! I’m going to do that right now!
Erika G Do you have them all? If you do here’s two other color mixes I loved. Especially if nudes wash you out.
1. Apply muse. Pat a little bit of myth on top. It creates a beautiful, very unique color.
2. To create another color, pat some of decade on top of the first mix until you love the color.
Did you also see Lisa’s mix of applying decade as a stain and then patting some velvet morning (the red orange shade) in the center. That one is also beautiful.

Thank you for this video. I absolutely love Lisa Eldridge. Love her beauty, grace and her determination towards perfection.I ordered her lipsticks within the first few minutes of preorder, and now that it has been shipped, I am waiting impatientlyfor them to reach my country. I know I am going to love them, just like I love her velvet red line and summer pinks line ...I possess both of these lines of hers. I have , in effect, stopped purchasing any other lipsticks, ever since her lipstick line first came out, and will continue to do do... Even if she makes one line of lipsticks per year. Even her customer service team is excellent and extremely helpful. I love her since the time she first started making her you tube videos .. and my love and respect for her keeps on increasing ( even for her products ( her book, her lipsticks,gemstones etc)) .

I got mine today too, SUPER EXCITED!! The most interesting part is how different these colours look to different skin undertones!! We have similar skin tone but apparently quite different undertone, because these lipsticks, especially the nudes, look so different on me but yet super flattering on both of us!! Thats the magic Lisa puts on her products!! And I know that lipsticks in general look different depending on someone's undertone, but there are a few out there that flatter everyone no matter what!! 🙌🏼👏🏼💯
Velvet Muse ended up being my perfect nude - it's not too light, not too deep; the perfect mlbb shade that I've never been able to find before. It looks so different in me than on Michele and remains gorgeous.
@@sarahc-b8400 I know, right? And personally, Velvet Muse was the one I was the least excited for from the New Velvet Collection, and ended up being my favourite, the perfect everyday colour!! 🙌🏼(of course I love and the other two shades from the set 😜)
