Harvey Weinstein should get the maximum sentence and throw away the key.
Agree 100% but the fault here lies not with the court but with the prosecutor(s) who should have known better the risk of bringing in those witnesses. Same goes for the Cosby case where mistakes by the prosecution lead to him being freed.

Heads up to anyone getting in on the baby reindeer recs, i think it is worth reiterating it is far heavier than you may be aware of going in. Very effective, but know what you're walking into (i don't know how it doesn't sweep the limited series emnys, sorry shogun).

Zack Snyder should direct an S. Craig Zahler script next. They would mesh well and Zahler is an amazing writer/storyteller.

Critics are not always there to steer readers.
Sometimes, critics are meant to give us context for how to engage with a movie.
Some of the best reviews of movies I’ve ever read are negative critiques of movies I LOVE or positive criticism of movies I HATE.
Sometimes a review can be negative but still tell me that it’s totally my jam!
And sometimes I’ve read / seen positive reviews that tell that I’d HATE the movie they’re praising.
Good writing has value in general!
I feel like in Zack’s future going forward he needs to work with more producers that give him constructive criticism. Because it just seems like the past few years he only works with people (minus his wife) that think of him as the 🐐.

The directors of Blair witch actually made a lot of good horror flix since.
Also, the actors involved with Blair Witch, actually are as part of the fabric of that film as the directors!
They were basically cast and crew for that movie.
It’s not simply about compensating them for old work. It’s about honoring their contributions and then giving them compensation for their expert opinions on the new one.
Hell, give them an Exec Producer credit. Just set them up to get a lil cheddar for the new flick. It’s not that deep.
