I absolutely love love love those Jane Austen editions! So, pretty! And, I MUST read Red Queen! It has been EVERYWHERE lately and everyone seems to love it! Thanks for sharing!
Also, in regards to how she found your wishlist, I'm nearly positive I've seen it on some of your older videos (even after you took it down/stopped posting the link), so my guess is that's how!
Oh my gosh, I have been eyeing those versions of Jane Austen's novels since before they were released, but I already own so many copies that it was hard to justify buying even more…but they're gorgeous!!! I LOVE Sense and Sensibility! I really hope you enjoy that one when you read it!
Awesome book haul! Redeployment is on my TBR, and you're the first booktuber I've heard talk about it! My fiancé is a marine who served in Afghanistan, and he encourages me to read these books to better understand his path and views from that.
I'm so jealous about all this amazing books. I want to read many of them as well. Especially the winners curse. The Jane Austen books look really really pretty. I love her books.
I loved Red Queen. I recently read/reviewed it. I haven't read either of the Winner's books but everyone I know who read them raved about them. The Simon book looks really good. Enjoy your haul!
Sense and Sensibility is my favourite of the Austen novels! My other favourites are Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. I LOVE Jane Austen I've read them all multiple times. I hope you love them too!
The secret diamond sisters and diamonds in the rough are now on my list of books to read, thank you for mentioning them :) can't wait to give them a read.
YAYAYAY FAIREST!! :D And I'm loving those Jane Austen editions! I haven't bought books in a while, although I recently borrowed Shadow and Bone from the library AND OMG THIS SERIES WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING OUT ON THESE LAST 3 YEARS.
The Fade Out seems interesting! Oh gosh those Jane Austen books are in my bookdepository wishlist! There are so many other books that are higher up on my get-soon list, though! But they're so pretty!
Secret Diamond Sisters sounds really interesting! Oh my gosh, Fairest... I still need to read that. The Jane Austen covers are so pretty :) I just got The Madman's Daughter from the library, but I haven't read it yet... I also can't wait to read Red Queen!
Redeployment is a bunch of short stories. It's a tough read (cause of the subject material - not writing), but well worth it. Sheds war into a different perspective. Looking forward to hear what you think about it!
The Madman's Daughter Series sounds interesting! Classic gothic tales kinda scare me, I remember being super freaked out about Frankenstein when we read it in school haha. But I guess I can handle them as retellings :P And the Jane Austen books do look goregous. I love how they have corresponding patterns!
I already own two sets of Jane Austen's novels in other gorgeous editions but I keep seeing these ones and ugh I want them! There also may have been a bind up I used to own.... Oh dear! :)
I am in the middle of reading Red Queen and it is AMAZING. The first few chapters were a little difficult for me to get into, but it got so much better in like chapter 4 or 5. I think you'll like it :)
I feel like everyone and their mother has been reading Red Queen, and I am just so jealous that I haven't been able to get it yet! Excited to know what you think of it since you are what I consider the fantasy queen!
YEEEES. get that jane austen, girl. I'm actually in the middle of re-reading Pride & Prejudice! I have a bind-up of all of her books as well, but i'm on the look out for some physical copies of them individually; the bind-up has the smallest text in the world and it makes my eyes hurt when I read it (I swear i'm not an old lady... probably). For now, i'm stuck with my ebook version =P
literally just bought three of the austen vintage series JUST because I saw them here. UGH SO PRETTY. I'm going to buy the other three next month so my wallet doesn't feel too empty LOL
I got Andrew Smith's new book, The Alex Crow, today on sale at my local bookstore! So excited. It feels like he writes a lot of books per year for some reason.

SENSE AND SENSIBILITY AAAAAAAAAAAAH. Sorry (no). I started buying the Collector's Library edition of the Jane Austen books, but there are so many gorgeous editions that I am lost. The Red Queen seems amazing. My TBR pile is made of 25 books right now, so I'm not going to buy it right away, though.
The Diamonds Sisters books sound really interesting! I just read Fairest, and I really enjoyed it! Simon vs the Homosapiens agenda sounds really cool, so I'm thinking about picking it up:) the winner's curse sounds awesome and so does red queen (AHH! So many good books! XD)
I'm the most excited about the book, How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C Foster. Since I'm no longer in school I don't feel like I'm getting as much out of some of the more classical books that I read so I really hope this book puts me in that critical thinking mindset.
I bought all the bright places by jennifer niven and i'll give you the sun by jandy nelson a few days ago! Usually, i don't read that much contemporary, but i was really intrested in both of those books and i'm excited to read them!
Red queen seems very interesting. I love books with that type of storyline.. it reminded me of The Black Magician trilogy by Trudi Canavan and I absolutely love that trilog so I have high hopes for Red Queen. You should read Persuasion and then watch the BBC film - it was so cute! Plus the guy who plays Captain Wentworth is one hot guy!
That's odd, I don't remember playing Captain Wentworth in the BBC film.
