The Walls Around Us was great! It's a kind of magical realism and it's confusing to read at first, but as the story starts to unravel, you start to figure things out and it was really quite good.

Ah Name of the Wind! I have a feeling you'll really enjoy that one!!! SO good!!
I have 2 books I got this month that I'm quite excited about. The first is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I've been wanting to read that for ages! And the other is The Portable Medieval Reader. Which is a ton of texts and essays written by various people from various walks of life that lived during the Middle Ages. So Kings, Warriors, Chroniclers etc. Chaucer has a couple of writings in there as well. I just love reading things written my people hundreds of years ago so excited to for it!

You have to read Mime Order very soon! But be aware - the cliffhanger at the end is huge. I had my biggest book hangover of all time. So... well, maybe you should wait until the next book is about to come out xD

I loved A Man Called Ove and loved it, I just think I read it at the wrong time. I was in a really dark place and there was a suicide in my family..and this talks about similar topics. It was humour filled but also really depressing, I'd love to reread it again. Since I really liked it then, I think I'd appreciate it (and find it a bit more light-hearted) than I did then.

Definitely go into The Walls Around Us blind. I read one too many reviews and spoiled it for myself. I think a lot of the book relies on you having no idea what's going on, and having spoiled the premise for myself, I put it down halfway through because I could see too well where it was going. It's very well written, though, and I'm super bummed I didn't have the best experience with it.

Im probably insane, but I really struggled to read The Spiderwick Chronicles (and A Series of Unfortunate Events) PURELY because of the type of paper they used or something... I must have been allergic to something in that older-style deckled edge fancy binding, because I would feel queasy every time I read one of those kinds of books (and I still do now). Like I really have to struggle through to read the content before I have to put it down to be sick. Why is this even a thing that happens to me, because I want to read them so bad!
