Castle in the Air is so great! Howl's Moving Castle will forever be my favorite, but I really enjoyed the whole HMC trilogy! Castle in the Air includes characters we're already familiar with while also following a completely new set of characters.
I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU LOVED THE TEARLING SERIES AS MUCH AS I DID!! That is such an amazing series and i literally have no idea as to how the series is going to end. I kind of wish it wasn't a trilogy, I WANT MORE!!

I have read 1/3 of The Goldfinch- it is absolutely stunning. If you haven't already, don't read too many descriptions of the story because it's worth just having unfolded as you read. I plan on finishing it soon!

Wow. I have never heard anyone on booktube ever mention Hood. I read it about six years ago. So good. Hope you enjoy it. Goldfinch was sort of meh. It started out well, but by halfway through I just wanted it to be over already and I really had to struggle to finish it.
Ive had the goldfinch since the beginning of the year thinking it was similar to the secret history which was AMAzing and ive gotten 400 pages in and i was kind of stuck. Its extremely slow dont know when im going to finish it but im sure its worth a read bc she received that huge award for it.
I also love Howl's Moving Castle! Castle in the Sky is almost as good, though I wasn't a huge fan of part 3 (House of Many Ways). I hope you enjoy it. Love your videos!
Stephen Lawhead is my absolute FAVORITE fiction author! If you like Hood, you should check out his Bright Empire Series, which I actually prefer over Hood. It's all about inter-dimensional travel and I've read the series at least three times.

I read all 864 pages of The Goldfinch and I couldn't see the buzz about it. She's an amazing author, an absolute brilliant writer but I just couldn't click with it. After I finished it, I felt as if I was missing something, almost as if I had missed the main point. It felt in a way that I could of written it myself in about 200 pages. Though I did happen to fall in love with Hobbie, he was a special character to me. I would love to know what you think about it when you read it, it would be interesting if you did a review on it.
