I’ve had tinnitus since my early 20’s. My Dad was raced cars and grew up with my head in engine looking at valves while he revved it.
I developed one super high pitch, one that sounds like the tone when a station goes off air and one low rumble one. They were noticeable, but not debilitating.
Then I caught in October 2020. The high pitched one is so loud now it’s screaming, developed another high pitch that’s a little lower decibel, and cricket’s! The crickets started in November and at first I didn’t realize it was tinnitus. I literally thought “gee the crickets sound nice tonight”. It’s been getting worse at night to the point I can’t hear what other people are saying. I’m hoping some of these programs help.

I’m a 30 year sufferer. Mostly high end hearing loss in my right ear with a very high-end tinnitus sound. The most important rule I’ve learned is to be very careful what you eat. High fructose corn syrup foods almost double the tinnitus levels. As does chocolate. Everyone needs to identify their worse foods or stimulants that increase the levels. That’s how I’ve learned to manage best I can. Praying for a medical break through.
Thanks for the masking noises... they definitely help. I simply run water in my bathroom sink for some relief at times. You must be a sufferer also to understand the relief. God Bless.

I cannot believe the difference this has made for me. Today is the first time in two years that I have truly been able to relax and spend time meditating.. My pulsatile tinnitus increases exponentially with stress and the last two years have been awful after everything went south due to an injury and ongoing chronic pain. I won't bore you with the details but suffice to say, I don''t recognise myself or my life after this craziness. Out of curiosity, after using this, I took my blood pressure. 124/62. That is the first time since all this happened I've been able to get it down below 70+. I used to have low blood pressure but lately it's been worryingly high. Incredible. Your work makes a serious difference to our lives. Thank you so much!

The best I got once was almost 7 hours tinnitus free after listening to a screech at 7100hz for just over an hour. Other sound files all have varying degrees of effectiveness but as I think my tinnitus pitch changes slightly most sound files of a single frequency work great one day then leave me with a whooshing sound the next day, so this one might fix that by sweeping over the frequency range my tinnitus might be changing to day by day.

Amazing! I do feel some relief. The sound I hear 24/7 believe or not is actually a bit higher pitch. Technically, based on my age, I should not hear these higher frequencies, but I do. Thank you for your videos!!

I don't have it bad but I believe my lates cocktail of medication has aggravated it. That said, this works to a degree. Shortly after turning it off I typically have virtually no ringing for a minute or so. Amazing as I never thought I'd "hear" almost total silence again. After a while the ringing does come back but I feel the intensity is lessening. Nicely done!

Fascinating. 7khz is the whistle I live with, but weirdly is also slightly above my hearing’s roll off frequency (age-related, plus high volume damage from my youth): so with this recording I just hear constant lower frequency hiss. Damn. I wonder if reducing the hiss component and significantly increasing the 6 to 8khz sweep amplitude would be better for me ?

Thank you Jesus and thank you sir for your work. As of late I have begun to reflect on the onset of initial tinnitus. It occurs to me that it was in the early weeks of recovery from covid, which to me was like a strange flu that attacked my sinuses hard. Curious to know if anyone else has this story? Prior to covid I had perfect vision (now heavy with "floaties") and perfect hearing.

    • @cfrandre8319

Match or identify the sounds, but listen to each in sequence. I have to do that, trying to knock down 6 or 8 primary “screamers” and then there is all the chorus in the background. Multi-tone tinnitus has been somewhat successfully treated with hearing aids, but the difficulty of hitting and knocking out more than two or three tones or frequencies is immense and expensive.

Audio engineers often remove the 7khz spectrum from recorded music. It's generally accepted that this frequency range is experienced as "unpleasant" for most listeners. Removing from instruments like distorted guitars for example, leaves the track sounding less fatiguing. I'm using this video as part of my burn-in routine for guitar loudspeakers. My thought process is that concentrating these 7khz sweeps may help reduce the unpleasantness experienced if and when my speakers reproduce it.
