You also have to clean all the part due to the minerals in the water otherwise it’s going to rust, corrod or worse. You need to as fast as possible clean the water off the components. So everything apart and back together after wiping down

Anyways, here's a simple brownie recipe for you:
    **Ingredients:**
    - 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
    - 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
    - 1 cup (100g) cocoa powder
    - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    - 4 large eggs
    - 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
    - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    - Optional: 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips or chopped nuts for added texture
    **Instructions:**
    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan, or line it with parchment paper.
    2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until well combined. Let the mixture cool slightly.
    3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, into the cocoa mixture until thoroughly incorporated.
    4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the cocoa mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
    5. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips or nuts until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
    6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
    7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as brownies should be fudgy.
    8. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving. Enjoy your homemade brownies!

1 good way of solving the issue is to submerge the pc in a bathtub of OIL after the the water bathtub because as a matter of fact people have made in the past aquarium pc's using oil for fluid you see oil is also a safer choice for "water cooling" because non conductive oil cannot harm your electronics even if they are fully submerged and OIL PUSHES WATER DOWN
if you put water and oil in a glass water will drop down and oil will rise up forming 2 different layers same can happen if you wash the water off of the pc using oil bath the water drops from the electronics

After you check for batteries you can drain capacitors pretty easily by trying to start a boot cycle while unplugged.
And make sure you TURN OFF HEATED DRY. after the cycle is done go in with a toothbrush and isopoyl alcohol to make sure to clear of any minerals and salts the tap water can carry.

It’s not actually the water that kill electronics, it’s the minerals inside them. So of its distilled water with no minerals, you could save it; like he said, dry out every component too.

Also make sure you let it dry aþ 60 degrees celsius
It makes sure water vaporizrs completly after some weeks

Tip: use silicon packets and put them over or if possible in the componenst. Make sure to remove them after its done. Additional information: do *not* use rice

Tip use silica gels on the individual parts so it will dry faster

If it's distilled water, than this is not true.
Pure H2O doesn't conduct electricity, it's the minerals containing ions that conduct.
So if it's distilled water (which is water without these minerals), then you could power on your system just fine. Even though it's completely wet.

the problem isnt about the water. infact some people submerge the device live in specific mineral water. but the problem is the corrosion and the oxidisation which will kill it

I'd recommend rinsing it with lots of rubbing alcohol to really get all of the possibly conductive or corrosive material out. Also it evaporates way faster so you might not have to wait for more than a day.

Additionally you will need to teardown ur GPU to get it to dry out properly and dunking everything into a batch of isopropyl alcohol will help because that stuff isnt conductive and dries quickly on top of capturing and moving water molecules

you could also shorten the wait time by putting the parts in a airtight pot/ jar and putting dessicant beads in it.

You should also remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard as that is still giving some power. It's used to keep your clock correct and such. If you're pc is really old you might need to replace it, not too important though.

It has a small battery, that keeps the clock running, this way the PC doesn't forget the time. So that can short out

  • @tom_a_tree_is_like_a_bee_w4297

A good method for your motherboard and gpu is to actually bake it in the oven. (For like a few min tops). Its actually completly safe aswell if done right. After you need to use rubbing alchohol if it the water wasn't distilled

Take everything out, seal any large openings that isn't the main opening, put a layer of rice at the bottom, put in your components and cover them in rice. Make sure to fill with rice above all components. This may take up to 10 pounds of rice.
