  • About a year ago we got the biOrb. The first rendition was pretty neat, but it dried out due to various circumstances. I redid it in the previous video to include a pond and that one did quite well. However, I decided to redo it again and this time I wanted to include a stream. Check it out!
Follow this link if you want to learn more about the biOrb AIR. I don't receive any compensation for this, I'm just putting up the link in case you're curious.

Terrariums don't have to be complicated or expensive. In fact, some of my best terrarium were mad for little to no money. Check out my terrarium build playlist to see what else is possible when making terrariums.

Its the opposite. He *conforms* to nature, in opposition to folks who struggle with formal garden setups and rigid terrariums. You can't fight nature, its best to be as free-form as it itself is.

You never cease to amaze me because so many times, I see you building a new setup and, to be completely honest, it looks like a hot mess, with the foam, tubing, dirt and such. But lo and behold, *every single time*, the finished product looks outstanding!
It’s takes a special kind of person to have that amount of talent, know how and foresight.

I found your channel randomly last year and I got hooked to this type of terrariums. I only used to do succulents or desert type rock terrariums but this seems more relaxing. Also, upon watching you, I realized how much moss and ferns there are just growing in our lot. I have attempted to do a simple one and I will do something with water feature soon. I live in MN and half the year we're covered in snow and terrariums are such nice way to see green. Keep inspiring others.

Every time you come back to the biOrb you do something new and beautiful. You've got a real eye for nature and composition. I really enjoy seeing you use this terrarium as a sandbox that you come back to and play around with, some people might only be able to have one setup so seeing you take one container and do different things with it is really inspiring and shows that even if you can only have one terrarium it doesn't always have to look the same.
I also really like that you always add details about the hardscape, substrate and plants as well as bugs and where possible you use the scientific names, that is so helpful and informative!

3.0 is my favourite for the vertical element of the stream. The pond served it's purpose as a water source, but weighted the eye to the bottom section of the orb. Whereas the vertical stream allows the eye to traverse up and down, without effort. I didn't notice this weighted feel in 2.0, until I saw this recent remake.

I’m leaning toward version 3 of the BiOrb as my fav, BUT version to is a very close runner up as well as my second fav. I can’t decide. But the first is my least fav. I’m so impressed by your work and ability to create something like this. It’s like you carved out a piece of nature and put it in glass box. Version three and two reminds me of af South Pacific temperate rainforest with a stream/and or waterfall with a pond. Your paludariums, terrariums and fish tanks are so beautiful, and like I said it’s like you took a shovel and digged up a piece of forest or nature and placed it very carefully in a glass box
