for the record, I'm the "old Man" junior bought the bike from, and it was not sold do to a fall as you referenced..I was tired of Dual Sport and bought a KTM 300 ....wanna race ?
Electric start makes in nice. Friend had a 80's Yamaha 750 single cylinder 4 stroke Enduro and the first time the compression release failed during the kick start he was doing a hand stand on the handlebars. Which was very impressive. The second time it broke his leg. Hopefully it did the same to the guy that stole it.
Big Dirt Bike For Little Dirt Bike. Man motorcycles sure have changed over the years. My first bike was a brand new 1975 Yamaha DT400 dual purpose bike. I know I'm telling my age now....lol
Very nice bike, I had a DRZ400 a few years back and Little Dirtbike's bike is the one I really wanted to upgrade to. Anyway, let him know he is missing the vent hose that connects to the outside top of the fuel cap. They also have little aftermarket breathers you can put on there instead. I am sure you have some tubing in your garage you could use.
Congrats Lil Racer. KTM makes very good machines. But when they break, get your wallet out. Also, the quicksilver carb can be problematic (if it has one). Check some forums for popular replacement. If you have problems.....
805ROADKING Yea, I had a Jawa 350, I hated that bike. Back then mixing fuel was not my thing, so I was always loading oil heavy, and fouling it out. When it ran it was crazy fast though.
