That’s so cool to see a gas powered washer

I had worked on old gens like that with my grand fater as when i wa very yund - to check out a comenator for gound we would test it to ground - we would also put a set of head phones and put so AC on the field and rotate the gen and listen for tone change ti find a bad winding -

Many of those engines and generators were still in use up till the 1960s befor REA brought AC to rural towns in the south - My grandfater started working on gens about 1900 - the old power houses for towns had 55 large 2 volt lead acid cells - A engine and gen would be run 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening to charge the power house batterys - they were fully charged all day on friday - I think those cell might have been 100 to 200000 amps - some were the size of a pick up bed and about 5 ft tall - The strength of the acid was 1.210 or in areas that never dropped below 0° it was 1.195 strngth acid - They added sufates to decrease the acids resistance - With weaker acid lead acid batterys last longer than 60 yrs of cycling -the plates dont rot and swell in weak acid or flake and shead material - They also dont sulate as easely in weak acid and easily desulate when equlized -

I have never ever seen one of these run reliably before. They remind me of the pulse jets from V1 doodle bugs. Great in concept, but apparently we have just lost the ability to make, repair, or use them. They're a forgotten tech. Like making machinery that doesn't suck.

would u have a coil for an echo srm 300e weedeater I bought new in 1975? this has an ignition coil and an ignition module.

I have 2 Westinghouse 11000 watts inverters. They both went into overload and do not start or power on at all.

It's more effective to use something light weight like plastic for the log. You want it to turn when the mouse shift it's weight. If you use something like a steel pipe (even with bearing) it might be too much of the logs own weight to cause it to spin under the weight of a mouse.

I think it would make a great addition to the Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad, CA

Thanks so much for the repair video, the problem with mine is that the plastic sheath around the spring has broken off of where the gearbox holds it, I’m trying just duct tape right now and praying it works

This is what we used at a cemetery back in the early 90s to tamp graves. 100% effective because there were never customer complaints. We just had to be careful of our own chins.

Man the part ive been searching eveywhere for and was looking like you we're going to do the whole thing on camera was removing those two little pieces outside of the retainer for that exhaust valve but your hand was in the way when you got the second one and you took out the first one off camera! 😮😢😢😢😭😭
