  • WHY COOLANT IS BOILING IN THE COOLANT TANK RESERVOIR ON A CAR
If have a car and the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling and you want to know some of the most common reasons why the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling in this video we will explain that. It does not mean 100% that you have bad head gasket if the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling. In some cases it could be something as simple as bad thermostat that could cause the coolant to boil, antifreeze is boiling. Air in the cooling system, if you did not bleed the cooling system the right way could cause the coolant to boil as well. Check the radiator fan, coolant level, test coolant temperature sensor and test radiator fan as well. Always inspect/replace the coolant tank radiator cap as well because bad radiator cap can cause the coolant to boil , antifreeze to boil. Hopefully the video will be helpful to any of you that need help with this.

Both my oil and coolant temperature is normal. I am also not losing coolant. But after I shut down my engine from 45 minutes of driving, i start to hear hissing sound coming from the radiator area. Coolant level also rise quite high in the expansion tank. I don't see coolant spraying. Sounds like intermittent air venting. This is first time i am experiencing this so i don't think this is normal. Anyone?

Hello! I recently replaced the radiator on my ‘19 Chrysler Pacifica. Afterwards, I burped the coolant with a big funnel, but now the coolant level on the expansion tank is a bit high after the car seats overnight. Soon as I open the cap it makes a whoosh sound and the coolant level drops about 1.5 inches. Do you think I may still have air in the cooling system? Should I repeat the burping process??

White chalky liquid all over the engine! Pulled the oil dip stick and it seems the oil is regular color. Slightly light brown though. I cant tell where the fluid came from. Does the white liquid mean my head gasket is blown?

I have a question , I did the dumbest thing . I'm still learning from cars and I will admit I done stupid things before but this by far the dumbest. Idk why I was looking at my antifreeze. I saw it look blue from inside when I open the cap but was brown looking when I saw it from the outside. So Idk why I thought of smelling it. So I took the cap off and put one side of my nose and smell it and after I felt it kick. I look it up and wonder by so when I look it up I found out of deadly it can be. The car was sitting for a while so it wasn't hot antifreeze. But my question is did I end up damaging my organs doing this?
