- In episode 2 of this series, we are on the second day of the trip, right at the top of the infamous bundu trail in Rust de Winter. The previous days driving to get to the top of the mountain had some tough going to get there. Now it was time to head off to our next stop on the trip and down the mountain. The previous night we were warned about an obstacle that stood in our way to get off the mountain, the "MAN OF MUIS" or in english, "MAN OR MOUSE". This obstacle luckily had a chicken run along the side leaving the option of doing it up to the individual drivers themselves....
Being far away from home and not wanting to or risk breaking anything, i decided that i was a mouse and the 4x4 trail or particular obstacle would not claim me as a victim, i think i made the right choice, what do you think?
Once off the trail we headed for Serendipity 4x4 for some great camping and yet again more amazing 4x4 tracks and scenery, some more tough driving lay ahead. One of the Land Cruisers on the trail i decided to make the dedicated cow bell carrier, i won't spoil too much of it all for you, take a look at the video and give us a thumbs up...

Somehow the camera didn't do it justice, without the roof top tent I'd have no issue at all but rather safe than sorry...

That camp on top at the start looked fantastic. That guy stuck on the hill obviously I don’t know the details. But sometimes rolling back onto maxtrax, stopping, then giving it some curry works well
It really was an awesome camp, the view was just epic! He couldn't roll back at all, his tyres weren't even touching the ground, not sure how he got that right but he did...

Definitely, but to prove what? that the donkey can go uphill? nah, I have done many years of many hard things and you know when you reach that point where you just don't need to prove you can for no reason at all... I have no doubt it would have been fine, if I didn't have the RTT and weight on the roof for sure I would have 😎🤟🏻
