I was born in Colorado and lived in the mountains till I was 9. One of the things that I miss the most is the Aspen trees mixed in with the pine trees in the fall. Now I live in a desert with hardly any trees, so thank you for the flyover footage of that, so beautiful. Katie you made it beautiful with the rocks around the stove, and I’m glad that you guys got it working so you can soak your aches from building. ❤️

I built a log cabin from scratch in North Idaho, no power or running water. So I've had many experiences similar to yours. Hard work which never seems to end but very satisfying. I now live in Hemlock, michigan retired and spending my golden years in a wheel chair. I enjoy your video including screw-ups for all too see but getting along together and keeping a good attitude with a great work ethic, Your not only building a home but memories as well.

good idea on water pump...you need a series of several sprinklers set up around perimeter of your house in case of fire...one hose is not enough to stop a fire... cut a lot of trees away from your house!...looking good keep up the good work...thanks 4 video. be kind.
