Frazer imported the first Chofu Stove from Japan 37 years ago! Frazer generously sent us a stainless grate after seeing our video. He recognized that the Chofu Stove we have is probably an older one and said the newer ones now have stainless grates.

Have you considered insulating the stove to reduce heat loss and maximize efficiency.

No, saving that tiny bit of heat loss is not worth the effort, as this stove is efficient enough.
