Katie, in the last episode you mentioned being in New Zealand at some point. Conversation between a Canadian and a Kiwi - Canadian says "New Zealand doesn't have anything that Canada doesn't." New Zealander: "Perhaps, but we can see it all in one day ..." 🙂 Always liked that one! I love your channel - you are much more realistic than many others - you have to work for a living as well as working on your homestead. I often wonder how some of these people manage to make enough money to support their lifestyles even with monetisation and perhaps Patreon income. Keep the videos coming. I look forward to them every week!

You're going to love how dependable and long-lasting that Anker power station is. I bought an Anker portable power pack it's about the size of a cellphone it's 20,000 milliamps. It will charge my cell phone almost 7 times. I've had it for 4 years and only have to plug it in and top it off every 4 months or so. It holds a charge for an incredibly long time.

Taping and floating is a thankless task. We had sheetrock work done a few years ago and the forman told us - if you have to sand after floating then really aren't doing it correctly. They never sanded just feather-edged. Takes a lot of skill. But, have fun with that.

Just a suggestion, why not use some of the smaller logs along the road to cut down the water flow in spring? The mill should work to cut one side to sit on the sides of the road, that could divert at least some of the water.
You might be able to use the offcuts across the road to give you a clearer path, keep it drier. 🤷 Just one suggestion.

When you start mudding, here's a tip. 1st get some of the 45 min cure mud. 2nd, get you some good ziplock bags, the gallon size. Put the mud into the bag. Cut a small corner out of the bottom, squeeze it out of the bag like a cake decorator. Into all the larger spaces you need to fill in. Work with your putty blades as usual. The will save tons of time fixing all the large gaps They also make an electric sander that has an extension to it to get all of your high spots, al can hook your vac to it to really minimize the dust. Amazon is your friend for that.
