    Did we make the right choice buying a Kioti tractor?

    • @elevatedgrubgardens118
      @elevatedgrubgardens118 Před 2 lety +3

      I think so,it seems to be common consensus for me when I look at homesteaders nearby,they have the same one getting the job done ✅

    • @jdub229r
      @jdub229r Před 2 lety +5

      Whoo hoo! Compact utility tractors are an addiction. You did good - our neighbor has the same series Kioti, he hasn’t had any issues. I’ve bought a Kubota L series that’s similar in size this spring & love it. Didn’t buy a backhoe, I’d rather rent a mini excavator & not tear my tractor apart (property is super rocky). I did get a third function and grapple that might have been the best choice ever. Can’t wait for tons of tractor content!

      Add the deck surrounding your house , with step in it , that would looks awesome, Last video you asked what do I think if you have an extra lot below your house , I would build 2 bedroom guest house , you could fence your house for privacy, then renting that 2 bedroom for vacation resort , people will love to stay on that lot for month , that is your extra income though, your thought ?

      The best tractor is one you can find locally for a good price that has a steady supply of parts for when you inevitably collide into trees.

  • @j.b.6855
    @j.b.6855 Před rokem

    In the present the tractor has already done a lot of work. Smart people buy tools to do work instead of paying someone to do it. The savings ends up paying for the tool and then you have it to do more work. Moving the dirt around the property, digging trenches, removing stumps, moving logs have likely made it a very smart purchase.

    Boy's and their TOYS lolol Seriously it is a much needed MUST HAVE up where you two are building and living. Wow it will be a working machine and nice to have the extra's for digging, etc. Hope you build a quick lean too for storing your new tractor it will save wear and tear on it. Plus when you go to use it in winter you won't have to brush the snow off before you can use it. If you take care of that machine it will take care of YOU. Great investment for sure. God's blessings to you both and your home is enclosed YIPPEEE!!!

Especially if your not siding it for a few months. You can always go back over it after you finish and use the wide crown staples. Believe me it makes a huge difference. Thanks looks great!

I see you guys working your asses off and think to myself, why didn't he build a single high dwelling notched into the mountain so you could use brick for four feet and wood for the next four feet .... you know .... something only pigmies' could live in but such is life to look back and say "I did it!" Both of you deserve academy awards for the awesome content and hard damn hard work. I may joke around with some of my comments but trust me, I love the hell out of this channel. Yo ur stream bed looks like where they filmed Pete's Dragon prancing in the water
    Yup farm tractors with front end loaders are a game changer.

    Great channel... about the backhoe and bucket... I'm not an operator but after watching many videos from 2 channels on excavation I even use my hand shovel differently :) Anyhow there is a lot to learn the easy way while setting back for a bit. Theirs's is usually larger equipment but it relates.
    Dirt Perfect is the more entertaining of the two with a larger variety of small jobsites while letsdig18 is more of a POV from usually an excavator or dozer for long stretches... it's the little things like the sideswipe of the backhoe.
    I'm working my way up thru your series and got curious when the tractor appears so jumped ahead.
    I've also been watching your current events for several months... you folks have the place looking good... Me and mine lived in a converted bus in the 70s but we headed south.
    Thanks for some peaceful entertainment.
