- Have you ever wanted to fight your ck3 battles in real time yourself? With the crusader wars mod for crusader kings 3 this is now possible and will forever change strategy games. Many including myself have dreamed of being able to bridge the gap between grand strategy and real time strategy which has never been done well before. This mod utilizes ckiii and total war attila to do this in an incredibly fun and well made way. This video covers what the mod is and how to use it. DO NOTE, the installation and use is way more complicated than any other mods and if not done properly will not work. Follow the steps carefully in order to enjoy this fantastic addition to ck3.

hi, I followed all the steps but when I open the Crusader Wars Launcher it always gives me an error that says "an unexpected error occurred. Please try again" and when I click Ready to start I get the message "No Log File Found!" I don't know how to solve this problem can you help me please? I didn't find a solution on google.

Got a question though, for Fallen Eagle. When you get into regular ck3 times (866 and onwards) do you transition to using the regular unit mappers, or do you stick with the ones specifically for Fallen Eagle?

Thank's to your installation guide, this mod finally! is working in my game.
CK3 is loaded for so long even on the SSD, and after each battle it is again re-entered into the game through the menu and not just collapse. I understand so far that it can't be fixed so that after the fight the game just comes back but with the result of victory or defeat? Thank you.
How do you use the 1212 pack? all the dates in ck3 are before ?
I did everything you did, and it works fine. It starts Crusader Kings like it should. I want to fight myself, and it opens Attila, but if I choose Crusader Wars and then try to start the battle, it just closes and nothing happens.
Edit: i was using the wrong mappers for my time period working fine now
I imagine CK3 combined with Manor Lords battles.

Might be a dumb question but after I unzip the file and try to get into the launcher it shoots me an error message that says “Could not find file ‘C:\Users\tlc12\OneDrive….and blah blah blah” everything else is in fine but can’t launch the game (I’m guessing because of this issue). Any help is appreciated

at 8:17 why do you close the mod manager at 33 mods subscribed then open it agin at 18 subscribed with a totall differnt mod set. Which order is correct? What to do with the other set of mods?
i noticed the same thing! It seems as if he deleted the anno domini mods, so he could show just the MK one's. However, i would like to know if that is a necessary thing to do, like you have to chose which Era you are going to play, pre-launching the game itself.

Base game works just fine. You do need the Charlamagne dlc for Atilla though
When it took me to the battle. There was only may army in the field. No enemy at all. What I made wrong?
nothing your enemy was there its just they dont show up on the map until your troops can see them

Why only let dynasty members lead battle? Also why is challenge and immersiveness reduced?
If you fight all your battles you will almost never lose.

Can anyone help me. I'm trying to get this to work. Installed all the mods requird in Attila, mapped the .exe files. Trying to launch the game through the sword icon. When I open crusader wars launcher it gives a warning for a file not found "console_history.txt". On clicking the sword icon the error is "No Log file found". Am I doing something wrong?
Never mind the solution was mentioned by the author of the mod in steam. Have to enable debug mode (there are lots of CZcams videos on how to do it) and enter some cheat code at least once in a random campaign. It generates the console-history.txt file in the game save path. Hope it helps someone!

Not currently. There is a game of thrones mod in development for attila which when released I believe the Crusader Wars mod plans to make compatible!

now do HOI4 with Men of War or Steel Division
Impossible as battles in HOI last more than 1 or 2 days typically. That and with the amount of battles on a front line, you would spend a lot more time fighting in MoW or SD that in HOI
