    I'm with Pollack on this. As long as the recruits keep coming they will keep winning. We do have some really solid plugs but having to replace Dean will be a challenge but they will still be really good..and will agree that the offense will be best UGA offense in a long time. • @aaronjones6178
      @aaronjones6178 Před 2 lety +2

      Eaten alive? By whom? GA has beaten most of the west opponents recently. Who besides LSU and Bama have proven that they can beat GA? Georgia is 6-1 against Auburn during Kirby’s tenure. Arkansas? Funny (2-0). A&M? Took care of them in 2019. Miss State? Nope (2-0). Ole Miss? Possibly; but not likely. However, they did get the win during Kirby’s first season (0-1). But honestly, outside of Bama, which of these SEC West teams could eat UGA alive? Be real!

    • @theblackdog2399
      @theblackdog2399 Před 2 lety

      @@aaronjones6178 The SEC West is exponentially far harder relative to the SEC East. As UGA being in the weak ass SEC East is like Clemson being in the weak ass ACC. Indeed, neither UGA nor Clemson 't have to play anyone, as it is always a cakewalk. Thus, since it is always assumed UGA will win the SEC east division every year just like it is always assumed Clemson will win the weak ass ACC, UGA like Clemson is always over ranked relative to better SEC teams in the SEC West every freaking year.
      Meanwhile, if UGA was in the SEC West, they would be a middle of the road Alabama bitch just like everybody else.
      Moreover, in 2017 when Kirby finally lucked out and won the SEC, it was only because Auburn who at full strength had destroyed UGA the week before, then became decimated by injuries. Otherwise, Auburn would have embarrassed UGA in the SEC title game again.
      Then after UGA almost but not quite embarrassed the SEC by coming within a hair of losing to OU, UGA comes back to play for the natty against the runner up in the SEC West, which is Alabama and then guess what? In embarrassing fashion UGA loses the national championship game to Alabama, the SEC West runner up. Which meant that in 2017, UGA was maybe the fourth best team in the SEC that season, as LSU was the only team in 2017 to have beaten Auburn when they were at full strength.
      Nonetheless, for years all we heard was how great Kirby was because he lucked out and won an SEC Championship in 2017. Yeah he did, with the fourth best team in the SEC that season, give me a break.
      Then even last year, UGA was drummed by Alabama in the SEC title game, but still gets in the college football playoffs to force a rematch in the national championship game. However, by that time Alabama had become decimated by injuries at key positions and ends up barely loses the game. In other words, for UGA to finally win a natty after 41 years, Kirby had to get lucky as shit again. Otherwise, UGA would still be without a natty today.
      If UGA had to play an SEC West schedule every year, their national rankings would be far lower because their record would be far worse. And yeah, LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss from the SEC West have owned UGA.
      Meanwhile, nobody has squandered away more elite talent without anything to show for it in the SEC and in college football other than Kirby Smart. Not only that, but no other head coach in America has choked in more big games other than Kirby Smart.
