UGA recruiting is getting incredibly hot right now!! Week after week, UGA is bringing in and impressing their top targets, and their slowly but surely putting together an excellent class!! They're already on pace to land one of their most talented WR classes EVER, by possibly adding Travis Smith, CJ Wiley, or possibly Derek Meadows to their current commits Thomas Blackshear and Talyn Taylor. It's also looking like they're going to add a really good RB like Kromah to go alongside Bo Walker. Their OL class could be absolutely ridiculous with David Sanders, Juan Gaston, Nick Brooks, Dontrell Glover, Cortez Smith, etc. alongside Mason Short. Then, their DL/Edge class could be even more insane with the Dawgs likely to land the vast majority of Justus Terry, Elijah Griffin, Isaiah Gibson, Bryce Davis, Jared Smith, Kevin Wynn, Javeon Campbell, Charles House, to go alongside Darren Ikinnagbon, Christian Garrett and Stephon Shivers. Then, Schumann is also looking to find his third ILB prospect to go alongside top #115 overall prospect Jadon Perlotte and Zayden Walker, #1 ILB in the country. That third member seems to be either Ty Jackson or Tavion Wallace, #3 ILB in the country. FSU is hot on Wallace, but at this point I never count Schumann out when he really wants a guy. The Dawgs are also bringing in countless talented prospects for their secondary, but it is the least clear grouping who they're going to ultimately land...DJ Pickett, D.Lee, C.Ewald, B.Woodby, J.Gilyard, T.McNutt, L.Hayward, E.Winters, A.Fegans, B.Hanks Jr., R.Johnson, J.Morgan, O.Robinson, A.Purcell, etc. to go alongside the #7 Safety prospect and the incredibly athletic Todd Robinson. The leader of this recruiting class, its unsung hero, and one of the least talked about prospects is severely underrated TE Ethan Barbour. Barbour has been holding down that leadership role for seemingly two years now, #DGD. QB Ryan Montgomery is their guy and since signing he has instantly started recruiting guys to UGA, and he seems like a future stud despite not getting a ton of hype. He wasn't flip-flopping, nor trying to position himself for the most amount of NIL he could get, he simply wanted to come to UGA. That is EXACTLY the type of guy you can build a class around, and it is slowly but surely shaping up to be one heck of an amazing class!! When it is all said and done it could be one of their best ever, at least at the WR spot and along the DL, and that is definitely a huge statement!!

Everyone says if Griffin chooses Miami, it's all about the NIL, and Griffin taking the bag. While yes, Miami will undoubtedly offer Griffin a larger NIL package, that is certainly going to happen. That being said, do NOT discount the role former NFL great, and current Miami DL Coach, Jason Taylor might play into Griffin possibly choosing Miami.. In a short amount of time, Taylor has already announced himself as a big-time recruiter on the scene, and in any recruitment he's involved in, he's a legitimate threat to get his target to sign. UGA would develop Griffin better, in my opinion, but Miami also boasts a really good offensive line that Griffin could go up against on a consistent level. Facing against some top OL prospects, the larger NIL deal, and having Coach Taylor makes Miami a giant threat for any big-time DL target who has their interest. I ultimately think Griffin ends up at UGA, but unfortunately, in this NIL world, it seems like it is getting more and more difficult to reel in multiple top 15 guys. I think last cycle for the top 15 kids, I think they ended up at 11 different schools or something like that. It certainly is not very easy. With that being said, it is just HIGHLY UNLIKELY that UGA ends up landing three of the top seven in Griffin, Terry, and David Sanders. Much less, landing all three of those guys, while they also land Elyss Williams, Zayden Walker, and then one of their top 25 DB targets in Pickett, McNutt, or Lee... If they somehow even landed just one or two of those guys to go alongside Walker and Williams, that would be an excellent haul for the Dawgs.
