But I used to tell people that an average d3 team would blow out the #1 hs team in the country and stand by that. Grown men, way more time practicing and watching film and better coaching plus even the best hs team in the country starts one or two guys that are d3 players or worse. Besides maybe img they may start all fcs or better players but even they would lose. Buuuuut the worst d3 team in the country now that is a close call I do think maybe there are hs teams that could beat them lol

I won a state championship in hs and the level of coaching especially in the passing game/route combinations play calling of plays vs teams likely coverage the coaching of pass defense having linebackers know how to pass drop and running more than three basic coverages is a huuuuuuuuuge difference in hs and college. Mostly due to time constraints on how often u can spend time with the kids to install and watch film but also the time constraints on coaches who teach or work a day job and can’t sit in the film room and break down every single play of the other teams season and have valuable data on the percentages they run plays out of formations on certain downs and distances. The one thing I’m certain of 100 percent is that even the worst d3 team in the country will be more prepared and have better coaching than a hs team.
