Better than leao 100%
As an American you can’t say he’s better than Leao and there isn’t any reason to list them. Leao is world class talent. They are both crucial to this team and having them both fit and healthy is what we need to push for Scudetto.
@@LaVerdad2Leao doesn’t and hasn’t shown up 75% of the time and spends most of his time walking around and if he isn’t just walking he is lightly jogging… he waits for the ball to come to him he never runs to create space or anything else

Hes simply never had another winger who was any good much less a 20 year old who scored 10 and had 11 assists for Chelsea in first year of the premier league. And was the youngest Chelsea player to ever Hatrick. Pulisic is a step below world class and the only reason is lack
Of paying time at Chelsea and conversely Leao played with salamakers and messias so he looked like mbapppe the last three years. He’s got world class pace and world class potential but pulisic will have more contributions this season even tho he’s being forced to play from his “weaker” foot.
Pulisic pitch IQ is heavily underrated. Very smart player. While a lot of people would like to see him as a #10, I think it takes away from his creativity with the way he moves off the ball when he plays out wide. He’s not your typical winger. He is hard to figure out at times. The way he draws defenders in playing out wide allows him to make those smart passes to the middle of the pitch and those runs to cut In.
Lol! That was a sweet set play between Maignon and Pulisic. There's a shot that shows a second of Pulisic lollygagging offside so his defenders ignored him. Then *just* as Mike takes a step towards the ball Puli sprints *toward* the nearest defender, and onside. That bit of play and *long* distance communication on the field is as impressive as the goal itself.
Interesting how when Pioli makes his team play we don't see flexibility on passing. The team passes more traditionally. But When Theo today played as a CB, I saw how he was swinging the ball from wing to wing towards Chukweze. I enjoy this because it gives a team more confidence to play the ball. In most of the previous games, players like Calabria and Theo, such important team leaders, focused more on passing the ball to their obvious options. I remember how Modric, Xabi Alonso used to pass the ball around in unorthodox ways for Real Madrid and Pirlo, Seedorf for Milan . Football is all about making options in the field out of the obvious.
I called it on last videos comment. Jovic and Pulisic are in good mental state, they can make things happen up top. Martino sent you a shout out on his channel btw,I hope your channel keeps growing. The situation that Pulisic found himself in was similar to the PSG game where he went for the pass. Now, he had no choice but to trust himself and scored with 3 people trailing him. If he shot it the defender would’ve got it, that chip was absolutely crucial. Every little piece of skill he used was necessary for that goal to happen. Jovic goal was a volley, although in front of the goal, still a hard shot to place. On the assist he thought of his teammates he was not selfish. He understood his position and what the best option was. His decision making today was amazing, sometimes playing behind RLC. Also, the first goal was an interception by Pulisic thats why he was MOTM imo. We did not play a great team today but the mental boost is something the players and the fans both needed. I would LOVE to see pulisic in the 10 spot of a 4-2-3-1. His ability to dip his shoulder and drive left or right is fun to watch. Pulisic in the midfield with lots of space to attack would really open up running lanes for chuckweze and leao.
Good for Pulisic again to be a menace every time he touches the ball. I was not expecting him to be so consistently dangerous.
I think Maldini saying he was a wasted signing is just bitter and waiting to hit us when we’re down was sad to see. He obviously was overstepping and bosses will rarely keep people on like that. Such a shame because he will always be such a cornerstone to this club. Chuk needs to develop his right foot because it’s hard to watch him do the same thing every time he gets the ball. He has such talent but his one leg is holding him back. I’m really happy to see Jovic get on the tally because we can’t afford to only rely on Giroud.
Lastly, I really hope we can find a way to get Teremi or someone with real holdup play. Jovic scored but his hold up play is still lacking the proper Harry Potter incantation. Hope Rumors of inter getting Teremi aren’t true.

CP's ourstanding goal reminds me of the away goal at Real Madrid in the CL where Rudiger passes a similar long ball that CP pulls down with a brilliant first touch, dribbles around Courtois laterally and kicks the ball between 2 defenders for the only goal of the game. He would have had an assist if Timo W had not missed a sitter before that happened. Unfortunately, Coach TT in his "wisdom" did not start CP the 2nd game, but T.Werner still started tne the home game against RM. Go figure!?

Great goal from Chukweze in CL, but watch both games again, i feel like he was either making poor passes, or decisions or being dispossessed. He's a great potential talent but i don't really think he's good enough right now to play for this team.

Pulisic may never be considered "world class" but is still a VERY good, very versatile player. He's completely two footed, has a great first touch, makes intelligent runs off the ball and is always willing to work defensively for the team.
You may never be considered "knowledgeable" about football.

Pulisic is at his best when he changes pace. You'll notice it when he's feeling it. He'll speed up and then slow down then hit the gas again. It sounds simple but it's different look for it and you'll notice what it does to defenders.
1. Pulisic - what a goal. I think he needs to play in the middle when possible as we need creativity there. Chukwueze is becoming decent as RW and we have Leao on the left so the wings are covered pretty well.
2. I think Jovic is rediscovering his touch finally. Expect more goals.
3. Bennacer is back! If he hits his previous form, it will take some pressure off our decimated defense.
4. Adli. Really starting to see why he's hardly played for us all these years we've owned him. Pretty slow and makes too many mistakes.
5. Pioli. Should stay until the end of the season unless we drop out of the top 4. BUT we all know he will never take us to the next level (consistent Scudetto challenges and qualification from our CL group every year), so we need to go after someone like Thiago Motta (Bologna) or Farioli (Nice). De Zerbi would be great but he probably won't return to Italy any time soon.
1. Great game and amazing goal by Puli. He does (his own) things we all want. He just need to maintain that level against stronger sides, which is difficult. I agree about Chuk. He'll be a decent player in future (unlike Saelemaekers) but the price for his (and not just his) development was another bad season. It's just not easy to develop so many new/young players, to find some good chemistry between them and make good results in the meanwhile (Chelsea syndrome). It's much easier if your'e a smaller club with no big expectations.
2. Luka's career teach us to not expect much from him. I saw this game more as exception rather than the rule, unfortunately. I think he's suitable for direct-style of football, just like in Rebić. Both of them played very good in Eintracht but Milan is not Eintracht. In Serie A you won't get so many chances like in Bundesliga.
3. Kush said it well. Benny could be the best "signing" for the rest of the season. Welcome back!
4. Completely agree on Adli. For some reasons there are so many fans who think Pioli hates him but Adli simply hasn't done much to convince him to play, especially in this formation. This kid should fight hard for his place, just like everybody else.
5. Yeah, Pioli should stay at least until the end of this season, regardless of the results. It's not easy to achieve anything with so many new (and injured) players. What and who after him? I don't know. It's a big question.
Pulisic doesn’t play as well in the middle. He plays better on the wings where he has space.

Physically speaking, Jovic is a beast and has the skills to become a brutal number 9, however, going to Madrid so soon and the massive expectations that were placed on him kind of destroyed his form and confidence, at this Milan, now he has a chance to home back his skills now that he is surrounded with good wingers that can supply him the goals he needs, who knows? Maybe we can find the striker we are looking for in Jovic, but Pioli SERIOUSLY needs to put him to play, as much as i love Giroud, we can't rely on him every single game.
And Theo as a Centerback, the guy is going to be the second coming of Maldini in this Era, while he is not as good as defending, the way he was distributing the ball from behind was something incredible.
The attack of Pulisic and Leao is great but Milan still need a few key pieces to go up a level, and I am not sure if they are going to be able to get those to really challenge in the CL.
A solid #9 is still needed. GIROUD does way too much, but has too many downs

@@gtalientedepth in the cb position is already there but everyone is injured. Kalulu was great in scudetto year, kjear was great in champions league last year. Only the left and right back positions are could use some backup

Important win and a good reaction to the completely unnecessary Maldini interview. Jovic with 1 goal and 2 assists since the int. break stepping up big when he is most needed. Those points he helped us gain in Serie A probably "pay" for his contract already.
