I originally thought he wasn’t as good because I didn’t know he was playing on the right but he actually played well against PSG and was very impressive. The big thing for Pulisic is consistency. He doesn’t need to be a superstar every 5/6 games, but put in a good performance for 10/11 games in a row.
consistency and health, but that's football for you a lot of great players have be plagued with injuries
step down going ac Milan in champions league? where does Chelsea play in Europe this year?
Honestly shocking hearing that from a Liverpool player as well, he should know AC Milan’s history. Chelsea is a skid mark in comparison
@tomstar1800 ceiling is so much higher these days with chelsea. Yeah they ain't doing well now but that will change. Chelsea have won it twice since Milan last won CL
When did ac milan win ucl last? ur talkin about ancient historu 😂
@@ericsentanu7752championship next year?
@@kendall_knows_best2872 I would argue the opposite, throwing money at the situation does not equate to success. Just look at Manchester United…
AC Milan have been in the semis last year, won the league two years ago, and are making increased profits as a club - instead of using loop holes like Chelsea
Grew up watching Dempsey in Fulham ! Glad to see you again
McBride too!
Id love to see more of Dempsey on the show, he offered some very interesting points and he wasn't afraid to have some fun too.
A bit off topic but I think Yunas Musah should be the star of the US team. Such a good player with a fantastic work-rate. If he keeps on improving, this might be too far, he could become a Valverde-esque player where he can do anything you ask of him in any position.
He needs to start adding some goals and assists more consistently
@@musicvideouploader1but he plays more of a defensive role
@edbrown4800 doesn't matter.. Musah is a keyplayer at Milan, while Pulisic is an average player ..
@@htxhallitronix1569 that’s not the job of a defendible dummy
@@musicvideouploader1 Not his role and not what the US needs him for. McKinnie is more of the goalscorer from midfield. We need Musah to be able to hold the ball and make forward passes. He is excellent for that.
He is fulfilling his potential. He's THE guy for the USA team and he's playing for a big European club. For American player standards, it's pretty good. Anything higher isn't realistic but that's ok!
very very true. He is already successful. He won the champions league to be fair
He is what Landon Donovan could be if he played in Europe permanently
@@maxteraformLandon Donovan is a joke
@@maxteraform Pulisic was better at 20 than Landon ever was.
Micahs a good lad, smart lad who knows his audience
Chelsea is a mid table club at then Moment. Are they playing champions league? How is that a step down. The Italian league is excellent their clubs remain competitive without spending billions
The standard of Serie A overall is much poorer though.
@@BennyH11not as much as you think and you probably aren't watching much Serie A - besides the top 5 in EPL there are plenty of bonafide championship teams meanwhile at Milan he will play in Champions League going against the best in Europe every year unlike at Chelsea
Pulisic has been vital for Milan, arguably the best offensive player all year. “Step down” as a Chelsea and Milan fan. This was a great move for me as a fan and pulisic career. Milan is a champions league team who will fight for a top 3 league title. While my own Chelsea are not even going to be in Europa league next year. Chelsea is a great team with history’s but recency bias is insane. Milan has much more history.
id argue that the day to day competition and level of the players at Chelsea is much higher and the Prem is way more challenging week in and week out in England. i see your point but honestly hes a shark in the ocean at milan at chelsea hes just another player fighting for a spot. Though you do have a point about CL
I couldn’t believe my ears when Jamie Carragher really said Milan are a “step down” from Chelsea… in no sense is that true, historically, trophies, current performance etc.
It is in 2023
Chelsea are in an awful patch of form but lets be honest, in the past 13 years Chelsea have been miles ahead of Milan. Even now, look at the calibre of players and mangers Chelsea can attract despite their current form.
@@Cynthia20043ok 2023? Chelsea are not in the champions league and Milan are last season Chelsea finished 12. Milan was in the semi final of the ucl and the season before Milan won the league what did Chelsea do to make them better than Milan ? Lol only buying and spending billions
@@PrinceK7 You can add one more thing to this. AC Milan are building their own stadium and their revenue is increasing exponentially, so I think if everything goes as planned this new project can lead them back to their previous glories.
I love these guys at CBS ❤
First time I saw Musah in a US shirt I knew he was one of our best 11. His best position for us is in the 8 role or he can play in a double pivot.
America raawww 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Pulisic is just going to join the laundry list of stars that have left Chelsea and succeeded elsewhere.
Carragher should be in stand up comedy... Pulisic taking a step down from a 12th place Chelsea to a 3rd place Serie A, CL team, which just beat PSG!!
Chelsea is still losing to everyone despite the big rebuilding and great new coach😂😂😂.
They are definitely no longer the Chelsea of the Abramovich era.... PL pundits from the UK cannot live with the reality. Pulisic Ruben and Girauld are currently too good for present day mid table Chelsea. 😮😅😅
The LeBron James of Soccer
The new Messi

It’s a step down joining the most successful team in Europe after Real Madrid…
AC Milan is a huge club but they haven't been at the top for like 12-13 years. In this time Chelsea has been amongst the best clubs in europe and they have been very competitive in pretty much every season. So Carra isn't wrong.
@@simonbohman9085chelsea finished in 12th last season
@@stephenkapitula6089 anndddd?? They've won more trophies than Milan since 2010. By your logic then Dortmund is bigger than Liverpool since they are not in UCL and Dortmund is in UCL and runner up last season in Bundesliga?🤦🏻♂
@@bimapriambada1098im not talking about size but for the context of what club is better for an individual player rn its milan by a mile
@@stephenkapitula6089nah Milan hasn’t done anything in the last 5 years in europe
Pulisic was already an absolute beast during Covid, he just needs time to find that form again, and make it permanent
Pulisic is already best US player in history and he still has a long way to go
Deuce is talking more. Way to go!
Yes he is the most talented of gen z so far
Jamie inside is like: why are we talking about American soccer?
Ohhh, Micah finally got one in against Kate.
FIGHT AND WIN
Waiting for highlights....
Lmfao, how was the move from Chelsea to Milan a step-down? They moved from a mid-table team who finished 10th in the league to a club who is playing in the UCL, let alone the difference in our Palmares, heritage and history.
I don't know what game people saw, here in Italy everybody thought that Pulisic was one the less efficient players for AC Milan yesterday.
Not true, with the ball he did a normal game but he did put his soul running during all the game for help the defence and everyone saw it and appreciate it a lot
Let’s be real, anything is a step up from Chelsea
Henry has been dearly missed
Micah has a talent to throw himself in deep waters with Kate 😄
I believe Christian Pulisic can become a better player he can dribble very good hope he becomes a ac milan legend and make us americans proud
If we are talking about historic club size Milan are only second to Real Madrid probably in the world
Where are highlights people!!!!! That Atletico game!!!!
It is a step down from the best league in the world..... but somehow, I think it is JUST was CP11 needs right now.
Best league in the world? I would say you improve more has a player at fiorentina than you would at Bournemouth wolves etc etc
@@Micfri300 Agree. PL is the most competitive league in the world and requires the most physical output, but it doesn't mean it's good for player development.
i like how Dempsey is more of an OG type to these players. The landon Donovans are always running their mouths out of sheer jealousy of never really making it in Europe.
It’s call Football
AC Milan a step down? LOL Chelsea a mess of a club rn pretty ridiculous statement there. Yes you can make the argument that MAYBE tougher opponents in the prem, but it's always going to be hard games when the club is in shambles
Wouldn't read too much into the dip. It'd be 10 players if literally the only change was that Juve hadn't been banned from Europe.
Personally, I think he’s taking too much pressure on himself to be best rather than play as himself.
Pulisic has been a massive let down, not on the Freddie Adu scale but another American hype job that just doesnt live up to the hype.
He was one the best youngsters back in 16/17 his injury and Chelsea move was a problem and lost most of his confidence
@@ashen_BA-Pillmankeep telling yourself buddy
@@Cynthia20043 you were a kid at that time so I doubt you know much today
What? He is one of our favourite in San Siro
Guy has won a champions league what the he'll are you yapping about
I find it surprising that Kate would ask Jamie and Micah to provide input since they are not American
Your saving it to loose by penalties later on? English tradition that init
Stay healthy… and boom, he’s off with an injury.
He play in the worst role for a right player so he can't show his full potential... and remember Chelsea compared to Milan is nothing, tropheyx speak...
Stop getting injured that would be a start 😂😂
That’s easy to say.
U.S national team taking a big L keep Gregg and not employing someone like Jesse Marsch
English pundits have an insane bias towards English clubs…a step down ! Right because Chelsea have been fabulously lately. Mid table and zero European competition is better somehow
he is past his best. accept it
Pulisic isn't a top player yet, and given his age he'll remain a normal player.
If he wants to reach the level of Leao or any other top winger, he'll have to work 2 or 3 times harder than the others.
Yesterday he contributed a lot defensively, but then nothing?
More work on his passing, more work on his combinations, on his technique, on his ball control, on being effective in one-on-one eliminations, a huge amount of effort required.
Good Luck and the most important Forza MILAN 🔴⚫
He can reach his full potential when the American media stop overhyping him and claim he is a world class player. He is nowhere near that level. He is a okay player who can play good occasionally. Nothing more and playing well against bad to mediocre teams in concacaf like Mexico or Panama doesn’t make you a world class player.
Why am I surprised to see you on another Pulisic video.
You're obsessed about a player you don't care about.
Go touch some grass.
This guy gets it
Pulisic is trash and Milan needs to get rid of him asap! FORZA Milan
🇺🇸
🇺🇲💪
the simple answer is that he’s just not that good. and that’s oke. he can still build a fine career at a mid table team.
but he needs to play regularly though, in order to atleast develop a little bit
He's a top player on a top tier team. What planet are u from

Umm well for starters HE IS OVERHYPED. HE WAS TERRIBLE FOR MILIAN TODAY BTW.
He wasn’t terrible. He wasn’t great but he wasn’t terrible
@@stationkidd HE WAS TERRIBLE
@@Jtve737came back from injury, has been good so far in serie a, definitely not a world class player but a good player
You clearly don't know ball. milan has been struggling the past few games without him. He is important in how they attack and move has a unit
Overrated player just like Dempsey himself they should’ve kept him back at Chelsea Forza Milan!
You can't do much more for Fulham as a player who's not even a striker than score against everyone or was it everyone apart from Arsenal? And International football he scored against Brazil, Spain, Portugal, England twice, Ghana also multiple times etc...3 WorldCups he scored in in a row.
Also how many players took Fulham to a cup final, let alone a final in a European competition. He joined them as a team fighting to stay in the PL.
Peeeuuuulisic
Pulisic great technic but too soft, like Leao
Musah is mutch better than Pulisic 😒
