My apologies everyone, I won't be making a review for Milan's 3-0 win over Monza today 🙏🏼
Some special goals in that match - for sure - but with the holiday season here, I had some fun plans with family and friends today.
🤔 Question, have the outcomes in the last two matches changed your view on Coach Pioli?
I'll miss you all in the comments section and I will definitely be back for Salernitana vs Milan. Maybe a little sooner, stay tuned! ❤

So how come Chukwueze gets a green box but pulisic doesnt ? Is it because Chukwueze scored the winning goal? What if Pulisic scored the winning goal, would he have gotten your reaction that you gave Chukwueze? Pulisic had to score the first goal to allow his team to get the momentum.

Dude I’m sorry. But if my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. Stop counting the times pulisic gets disposed and it leads to a counter. No shit it will lead to a counter against a side like Newcastle who want to throttle you down the wings. “He’d be getting red box” what over calabria, Theo, Florenzi, reenders and Ruben and Leao. We all
Know I’m a pulisic fan lol, but I can also see with unbiased eyes who was a determint to the game. And that’s who red boxes go to. 3/4 defenders were literally chasing shadows for the whole game. Gordon , Wilson, issak and a 17 year old miley literally dominated our backline and maybe musah was workman like in the ground he covered but he and the midfield were absent defensively and so was Leao. That missed breakaway when it was 1-1 can’t get a pass bc of the pedastal you and other lovers have him on. You know who drives across the defense without fear then slots that home, pulisic. Wanna know how I know that. Bc he did it 3 games ago after controlling a ball blasted 70 meters in the air, then fishes like an elite winger. No one had a great game but you should be watching these games without an agenda too man. But as always cheers for the effort and passion you have.

Pioli is a great coach, and he definently showcased that today. Milan have had so many injuries recently and its not fair that Pioli always gets the blame. However we need a manager that will take us to the next level. That being said, MIlan should not rush to replace Pioli. He's more than capable of getting us to finish Top 4 year in and year out - But eventually Milan needs to start looking at modern managers like Zerbi, Emery, Alonso, Ancelotti, Klopp and Tuchel... just to name a few. Hard disagree that first half was absolutely awful from us.
We simply won because of their tiredness of pressing all game, the late subs and individual brilliance from our squad.
Our midfield today was completely gone for the first 70 min and it’s mainly because we don’t have a dm that can hold thing thight in the midfield and the lackluster of ideas on how to play the game in situations where there isn’t a dm to hold the midfield I love Pioli but it’s time for him to go and no win can justify it.

He could have continued his dribble, drawn in the one defender and laid it off to Chuck, or pass it to Chuck early who was sprinting ahead. Shooting from distance was a bad decision. Felt like he was going for personal glory (which I think he and Leao are prone to do). Converting that chance would have put them up 3-1 and secured the win. Leao should have scored, and Theo should have passed it to Chukweze instead of that horrendous missed hit. I like the team and the players, but I still don't understand why the team sometimes doesn't play like a team. There are moments where an obvious pass is needed to score and someone chooses to go for glory and eventually misses that chance. Leao and Theo are great players, destined for greatness but if we look at the history of AC Milan, we will find teams known for breathtaking teamwork. I was distraught when I saw Theo choosing not to pass the ball to Chukweze in the end. As I remember Sachhi's team believed in attacking and maintaining constructive football. Attack is the best form of defense. When you get a chance to attack as a team, then please make use of it. Theo being a captain of the team (when Calabria is not there) please pass it to another teammate. I hope we can all agree that this team at times chooses selfish plays when you really don't need them. Leao's miss was unexpected. I love how Jovic, balanced the attack with Okafor. None of them chose to play selfishly and passed the ball to Chukwze. Why Pioli's team takes so much time to react. I believe Milan is one of the greatest clubs in footballing history, and they need to play like that.

Agree. But to be fair, Chuk was in an offside position (just one defender between him and the goal because the keeper was out). But Theo should have kept driving the ball and gotten closer. But yeah, those two players are great, but at times selfish.

tomori or maignan should have been motm. to be fair, newcastle was in the drivers seat the first half and especially after the first goal. however, when milan's first goal went in it changed the dynamic b/c psg were also tied with dortmund at that point. howe went full send with some questionable subs and over committed to score goal to save their champions league run. that's why everyone is saying newcastle were naive, being their first appearance in 20 years. they could have been calm and tied to save european football. i don't think the subs provided the impact that the first teamers wouldn't have achieved themselves. once newcastle sent it the counter opened up, even before pulisic & giroud were subbed. credit for chuk for nailing his attempt after coming onto the pitch, and okafur for splitting the midfielders to make that run possible. but this game could have been 5-1 had milan taken their chances (leao, tomori, theo). the midfield was severely dominated and was the primary reason the first half went the way it did. surprised tijjani was motm, he lost the ball a lot, and i can only think of one decent dribble into the box. one of his passes to florenzi was short, causing a scramble and he had to tackle to recover, then dribbled into traffic and lost it to a sprinting newcastle where isak sent it over the bar. cheers for the drama tho, it was a wildly entertaining day of football.

The tactics are awful. Reminds me of when Leonardo was coach. We won bc our players are better than Newcastle and they showed more determination. To be fair the subs were good. The goal milan allowed is a perfect example tho. Our best goalscorers (puli leao) are pushed ultra wide and we play through the middle with midfielders who can't score, it doesn't make sense. If we don't score and the other team counters its a 4 on 3, looks like Sunday league stuff. If they play like that against inter it'll be another drubbing. I had the exact same thought about Pioli when we were 1-0 down. If that scoreline held he *might have been* fired yesterday.
Something I haven't seen from RLC since the 1st 3 matches is his incredibly strong runs with the ball that drew 3 and 4 defenders to him. That was a thing that freed up our wingers both right and left. Esp when both he and Reijnders do that. I hope his injury doesn't continue to affect him.
Maignon earned his Magic Mike moniker today 😁
Reijnders had another solid match but he *still* wasted another shot.
    *Fik was ❤ freakin brilliant*
The eleven on the pitch throughout the match handled that environment superbly!
The great thing about Pulisic being at Milan as opposed to Chelsea is he would have been yanked before he got the equalizer were he still at Chelsea. He's still a bit too much of a confidence player, and getting yanked after a couple less than stellar performances could spiral him into a bad patch. Seriously, at Chelsea he was *never* given the opportunity to play his way out.
But here and now, he played his way into a vital goal that changes the course of Milan's season.
I'm ecstatic that the subs contributed! Thank all godsrealandimagined Chuk got that stunner 🔥 Without that depth no club can compete with the elite. And you have to say, this is the best Milan have played all season *without* CP11 on the pitch 😉
It makes me feel good about Milan's future. But remember... PSG only went through ahead of us on goal differential. A notch more killer instinct and being clinical in front of goal ...

Perhaps in the Europa League which is a bit weaker, we can get further ahead. Aside from the 0-0 results in our first 2 matches in UCL, you can also add PSG who got a last-minute bullshit non-penalty in game 5 (last match) v Newcastle in the 96th min which got them a draw and ultimately, that also cost us a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League. I think our issues are at the midfield. There is no recovery, any time any team are attacking they get to our box and get a shot out. I am sorry but you are way off on a lot of things. I get it, you make these videos based on emotion and not facts. Its why i havent been watching them recently. Lets look at facts from an impartial observer.
    1. Pioli masterclass? You have been saying sack pioli. Pioli needs to leave. Pioli blah blah blah. The facts are that Milan has had injuries. Look who came off the bench. Okafor, chuck, pobega, jovic. Finally having quality come off the bench.
    2. Reindeers got a 😍. Seriously. At one point i was screaming at the tv to switch pulisic to the 10 because reindeers in the midfield has been terrible. Outside of the first couple weeks with the team, the guy has been losing the ball every time he is on it. More than even chuck. He has been really poor and honestly needs to ride pine for a while.
    3. Pulisic. Like others have said, you are pointing out the minutes he gave up the ball. Do that to all the players than. Do that to leao every game. Do that to reindeers in this game. Pulisic might not play perfect all the time but shit happens when he is on the field. Which is probably why pioli has started him in every game right after coming back from an injury. It seems the only time you dont criticize pulisic is if he plays a perfect game. Otherwise you criticize his every minute. Pulisic fans arent above criticizing pulisic. I do it all the time but you seem to do it even when he is doing more than most everyone else on the field. Go back and look at reindeers in this game again. Count how many times he gave up the ball.
