Isn't that a point of consideration? I guess not - since 'Politics' is all about the 'here and now'?! - Now, to my primary bone of contention - with programmes, such as this one, which are at least TRYING to 'reinvent the narrative'... When will we begin to ask the REAL questions? As far as my (acceptedly limited) understanding goes - in a Democratic Polity - the function of 'Politics' should END, once the election is over and the representative Party has been chosen. Then, it is SUPPOSED to be a question of GOVERNANCE. A question of assessing how well this Elected Political Party is able to conduct the affairs of the State - whether they live up to the expectations of the Polity that entrusted to them the job of Governing the country - or not. And subsequently - come the next election - it NEEDS to be an assessment of the performance in the department of GOVERNANCE, by the elected Party, which should control the 'discourse' - shouldn't it?! But somehow, it NEVER does! It's ALWAYS about the 'POLITICAL' tricks and ploys... How well is so-and-so Party 'pulling off' the 'Game'? How is so-and-so Party 'Missing the narrative'... and so on. Is that how this poor country, and its privileged Elites - where the meek Lambs have been forcefully entrusted with Democracy, which they STILL refer to as 'Raaj'-Neeti - going to go on exploiting its Colonial past??!! Or, is there a REAL voice that has the courage to actually strip the Emperor, after all???
