I’m so glad I found this video, I was wondering what other colors could make yellow and you’ve answered my question😊 I tried pure orange and apple orchard green with my folk art brand paint and it made a mustard yellow then I added some white paint and it was the right shade of yellow that I needed, thank you for sharing this 😊

What is a good alternative to the red paint? I have crimson, scarlet, and carmine. But no sennelier.

I've been painting for over a dozen years now and started painting w Cinnamon in the beginning. I'm excited to see more advanced yet beginner paintings and I just had to watch this one come together. I've missed you guys. BTW I've been selling my artwork for three years now and it's been thanks to this wonderful family who taught me the basics and to find the joy and healing in painting.

My youngest with her 2 boys are going to be visiting me from the 7th to the 14th and we are going to Disney and Discovery Cove. Been looking forward to her visit for months now. I believe it was you on another painting of a girl in rain that u taught me to use a tooth brush and paint to flick paint on and the go over softly with brush and we used a liner and ruler also . In case that helps anyone bc it did me on this painting.

I also wanted to ask about canvas size. I did not have a 9x12 that you recommended, but I had an 11x14, so I taped the edges to create a white border while reducing the size to the 9x12. My question, was that the best thing I could do, or should I have just adapted the art work to fit the larger canvas?

I have been asking for a rat forever in this style. I suppose a mouse is close enough. Next we need a stream punk or Victorian crow , bay and octopus!!! But a little rough around the edges!!!! Hopefully one day you will do a gothic steam punk Victorian, non cutesy rat! Maybe with an umbrella, vane, or piper. Or maybe the octopus should have the umbrella and pipe. Kinda like Davy jones in pirates of the Caribbean

I want to retire so I can paint more! My sister has always been the quilter and seamstress and paints beautiful paint by number photos and started doing that with her but paint by number was too tedious. Cinnamon and Clive5art have shown me how to create. I love you both for sharing your craft and bringing into a whole other world that is a wonderful zone to be in. Thank you

Finally, i had some time to sit down and paint! Been so busy lately, but in all good fun. I seem to find more things i enjoy doing when its nice and warm outside. Just wanted to let you know im attempting to try and paint this one along with you by replay. Our guestroom, has SO many paintings ive done, by watching your videos. My daughter's entire walls in her room are filled with her paintings from your videos as well.
