I am new into painting, I followed Your steps and made an amazing vibrant painting of a stage, Now I took a part in painting contest which is going to held first time in our city. Despite being a newbie, I gathered confidence and took part in it. now I am making a painting but I do not know what's wrong with me, my colors are not blending properly, I have never painted a human face so I faced some difficulties withskin tone and shadow adding and blending them. competition will held on 28 April. Can You please make any tutorial to draw a man side pose, and then adding skin tone and shadows
painting time is only 1 hour which makes it more difficult for me to compete with professionals

There are a few to get you started and if you search my channel for skin tones (and hair) you will find more. That said, portraits are hard for experienced painters so keep it simple in the beginning 💖
