well, in PUBG mobile, whenever you add a suppressor to m416 gun, the sound is reduced majorly. Look at the actual sound of m416 as it is soo LOUD!!. What if you add a suppressor to m416, the sound is reduced UpTo 25%. You can actually judge that it is considerably strong suppressor.

I'm only guessing here, but he was most likely tasked with making an animation focused on the cooling and dissipation of gasses from a fired bullet, when using a silencer. The peripheral components, such as the casing discharging, was probably meant to make it more realistic, but the small details, like discharge timing, weren't the focus of the video, so attention to that particular detail was overlooked.. like the majority of people who watched this, my attention was on the way the silencer works, so i didn't pay any mind to the surrounding details, until it was pointed out of course..

Important to note any gun with a gas seal around the bullet when fired can use a silencer. Not many revolvers can use silencers due to gas escaping through the chamber, but a few revolvers can actually fit silencers due to custom gas seals unique to their design. The most famous revolver that you could fit a silencer to is the M1895 Nagant Revolver, it creates its own gas seal around the bullet and chamber.
Games always get suppressors wrong. Suppressors are literally just straight upgrades from the original gun (apart from the added weight) a suppressor will hide the muzzle flash and increase muzzle velocity along with the whole suppressing sound thing.
No the suppressor doesn't really help the bullet go farther unless u just have a very short barrel where u have a bunch of powder left to burn and technically more baffle chambers in the suppressor is quieter but u reach diminishing returns pretty quick. Actually, I am traumatized. I don't know how the bullet fired from inside the firing pin. Somehow the bullet is subsonic, but the casing is ejecting at mach 12. And, for some reason, these gasses aren't expanding into where they should.

The only way to avoid that is subsonic ammo, but with a normal barrel then gasses are expanding so fast that the gum will still cause a gunshot sound, and to actually be quiet you need both a suppressor to slow down the gasses and a subsonic bullet to avoid the shockwave.

A silencer is a lot like the muffler on your car (in fact, both were invented by the same guy). Screwing a silencer onto the barrel of a gun doesn't "silence" the explosive bang, it just muffles the noise. That's why folks in the gun industry call them suppressors instead of silencers

The more important thing that the bullet is still flying supersonic, and thus it will cause a sonic boom, which is the real sound of a gunshot. The only way to avoid that is subsonic ammo, but with a normal barrel then gasses are expanding so fast that the gum will still cause a gunshot sound, and to actually be quiet you need both a suppressor to slow down the gasses and a subsonic bullet to avoid the shockwave.
