I was very critical of not being like yours But…. You said in one of your lessons find two things about the painting you like, I try to stick to that rule. The other one that I always hear you say…..There is always an ugly stage. So true! I finish and walk away most of the time with ohhhh it’s bad. Later I see it’s not perfect, won’t win awards but I did it and usually end up liking it. Thank you for being such an amazing teacher. And thank you John for all you do. Cinnamon, I've been unable to paint for awhile, so I've just been watching tutorials. I'm generally drawn to the more realistic style, but the detail in this dandelion caught my attention. I'm so glad it did. I learned so much that I've been wanting to learn from this! You said it when you said, "We can paint a simple painting and still have interesting details..."
