Just getting started. So grateful for you and grateful for your mental health journey. Love love love these 3 parts. Make me feel a lil more secure in my painting process. Your 1 1/2 takes me much longer but I'm doing me at my speed. Having it done in parts helps me to continue with a painting as sometimes I get a big rush of painting joy but then it peters out and I have trouble finishing. Just finished watching this part as I missed the live because I was visiting my Aunt in hospital. We thought we were going to loose her a few weeks ago, but now they are taking about discharge which is fantastic and a miracle. this was amazing thank you do you have videos that help learn perspective? It would help me to be able to paint more accurate pictures. I find my paintings are off because I don't do perspective when sketching.
I have a few, but what I would really love to recommend is a CZcams channel PROKO I don’t wanna send you away and I hope you continue staying in paint with me, but I just personally think that the best explanation about perspective is on his channel. He has a whole playlist about it, starting in a box and building up and really talking about the weight of line and I just think it’s quite good, the other good place to learn about perspective is the old videos called secret city with Captain Mark. It was a kid show and it was all about perspective, but it was genius and when you can find those sometimes because he was explaining it to kids it almost explains it better than anything else in the world and I really love that is a resource too. I hope one of these resources helps and that you keep painting with me. If I had the better video, I would recommend it but I just think these two guys for perspective have the better videos, and at the end of the day, I want you to have the best result in your art journey you can have

Hello, can you please confirm the 9x12 surface material? In the video it states canvas but in the description it lists a multi media paper pad?
9 x 12 as well. I keep that pad around to practice techniques, doodle ideas and work out color mixes

How do you decide what color to paint your background?
That is something you learn over time and with practice and instruction, It isn't something really that can be taught in one video. I will think on making some videos about this topic 🌼
