I just hope it's playable one lower end systems. I can play the first game on high settings with a pretty steady 50fps but KCD is pretty old at this point so that probably doesn't mean much.

Since the warhorse announced KCD2, I've started playing KCD1 for the third time. First time on PS4😂🥵 then the second time on PC and now PS5/PS Portal. Lock picking on the portal is impossible. Always I have to use dual-sense.

Maybe in PROS account you get some special features for creating videos, like several camera angles, recording the game to render videos later, admin power to generate stuff. Or maybe that is access to development tools, or an account with enabled monetisation of created content like mods or quests, so you can earn money. Maybe they even intend to allow other companies use their systems to create their own games, they had such tendency during first kingdom come deliverance. I highly doubt they try to screw playrs over, it is not profitable decision.

I know you’ve probably mentioned it to Warhorse once already, but in the lead up to the release of KCD2 they should seriously consider implementing a next Gen patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. A sequel will eventually result in more sales for KCD and they want to have good word of mouth as that happens. I think the investment would be worth it.

Gameplay over graphics: absolutely yes, BUT - specifically in KCD, an evening walk through the woods at 4K highest is someting else.

upgrading from a 3070 to run the game at 1080 makes absolutely no sense, considering a 3070 is a 1440p optimized card at 1080p should yield no issues whatsoever, upgrading would simply be a waste as at 1080p there's almost no way you're not going to be HEAVILY bottlenecked by your cpu at that point, trying to run high end 30 series or even mid range 40 series gpus at 1080p is VERY challenging to do without bottlenecking.

the information I've only heard in audio podcasts is that you won't go to jail anymore because criminals haven't been locked up there, so it's not hysterically accurate. instead we face physical punishment. for example, bet in the wood on square. Maybe even a gallow at the end. but as we could see in the trailer, for the crimes we commit they will burn us a mark and it will be visible for the npc and they will react accordingly. For example, we will have a conversation with a bandit and his view of us will be more positive than a townsman in the city. the mark will be visible for maybe a few days or a week.

I got a 1060.. wasn't that bad for KCD1

I played the original at 640x480 on Xbox game pass on my laptop and knew nothing about KCD. I enjoyed it immensely. That's what got me to purchase it for my other PC later on and can play at 900p on high. I'm usually graphics over frames; as long as it's playable.....good enough for me.

KCD 2 without ray tracing would be a huge disappointment. That engine needs at least rt shadows. Badly Gameplay over graphics? Dlss 3 makes that pretty much a thing of the past

Thanks for the update Roxy. Sad tho. If pros is a service to connect for rewards ect... well not sure i like that. Seems too close the Rockstar or Playstation plus. Both i despise 😒 don't like that direction at all. Agreed. Game play over graphics. I have had several chuckles at the community comments in that direction. 😅 Nope. Will not play maxed out. Ain't worth the functionality drop. I'd rather the story and game play be top notch.
