Yeah I'm currently playing on PS5 and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat irked.

The Switch is pretty powerful for something so small. Just look at The Witcher 3 port also from Sabre. If they could get that on the Switch with pretty good visuals and a consistent frame rate, this game should be fine.
1 modder single-handedly unlocked bloodbornes fps. I don't get why they just wont do this. It's not complicated at all.

So at last switch players can experience this beloved game, so many years since it's original release for PS4 etc for sure many Nintendo fans will look kindly upon this port in the future, only a little wait left till March.
Also surprised that the same guys that ported the Witcher III were the ones that delivered Kingdom come at the end, really cool, happy gaming for ya all.
I have it on PS4 and Xbox, but I'll probably pick it up on Switch too if it's good and whenever it goes on sale in Canada.
saber seems to have a good track record with porting games! love most of their jobs, witcher 3 on switch was amazing

Thanks, Roxy for your focus on Kingdom Come. I see you are a major fan of this game. TBH in my 40s KCD was really the last game that really hooked me up. I tried different games but no. I never spent 300+ hours ingame from that time. Sold my PS4 to buy a Switch for my kids because of the kids-friendly Mario etc. franchise. I am ready to play it again on Switch and DEVELOPERS HEAR ME!!!! I am more than happy to buy PS5 for playing that goddamn sequel 😀Warhorse you should employ Roxy!! Thats me out, bye Roxy.
Really hope the port is gonna be OK, at least on par with the Witcher 3 port on Switch. I kinda doubt it since KDC runs very bad on last gen consoles. It's seems to be around 14GB on the eShop, so should fit well on a 16GB cartridge.

How? I only play on my Switch these days and after seeing how Hogwarts came out, I am almost certain those who port these games are competing with each other, to see who can port the more impossible games and make it work. 😂

I love your deep analysis of the graphics! I feel obligated to buy it on the Switch as a huge fan of the series as well! Like I would rather play it on my PC on max settings...
But I gotta admit it's a neat novelty to see the Switch run and play a game like this and if I ever needed the ability to take it with me... Like go out and leave the house... Eww... But maybe...

There are other games that you can buy as well that are worth it to have one.
The real novelty is all the 'bells and whistles" the stationary consoles have, only for to announce they will be ditched soon for newer hardware already.

the royal edition is to be followed by kcd perfumes, then kcd bath salts, then the imperial edition, and the second coming of christ / the appearance of the mahdi before kingdom come 2 is launched...

WHEN KC:R is launched (not if), of course it will be your and our lives.. yeaa... haha. Something tells me it will be announced mid-2024. Lets wait.
Hmm, they're only just releasing kcd for switch, it wouldn't be proper for them to only just release their game on a platform and then couple months later announce the latest installment of that franchise. Not impossible, but highly doubt they will do that. I think if anything, 2025 will be the earliest we will hear any announcement of the newest KC game. That's if they even do a sequel at all, seems silly and would be a shame to leave it how it is, but it's not unheard of. Im betting 2025, if not 2025 then I give up and won't bother with their company anymore. Some sort of confirmation would be enough for now, but they dont even want to give us that lol.

Embracer Group is destroying game studios. Not a good outlook for your favorite game franchise if it's owned by Embracer.
They are not getting rid of profitable and successful studios. Also Embracer backs Warhorse and their next game. People act like the company is destroying successful studios. Studios like volition and Piranha Bytes released really bad games not long ago and were financially unsuccessful. Is it unfortunate? Yes! But Embracer wants to release successful games and backs projects they believe in. Warhorse next game is coming.
I don't like how they are doing the same thing as Bethesda is doing with Skyrim by just porting it to any possible platform, instead of releasing the sequel

The definitive experience for this game, at a buttery smooth 20fps with vaseline resolution, truly the best way to experience this game.
