I think we are seeing them more due to all of the construction. I feel like if we’re gonna welcome so many new people I wish we wouldn’t sprawl out into the forest so much. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to build more densely in areas that are not virgin land

I saw a documentary years ago that said their were wild monkeys living in the Florida everglades that had gotten there because some couple in Florida wanted an exotic pet. They had escaped or were let free I can't remember and they started a colony. They couldn't expand though because the trees they lived in was surrounded by alligator infested water which kept them contained to one area. Either they've figured a way to spread out since the making of that documentary or someone's exotic pets are loose.
