He is wearing the Celune armor you find in Isobel's wardrobe in act 2. Since I don't mode, I keep nice looking armours as a fashion for my scenes

Thank you! You are not the first person to binge on my videos without having to play the game. But that's the good part of creators like me, I have picked only the interesting conversations and cut on all the walking around. In any case, even if you buy it after one year on a discount it will still be worth it to play it first hand

But about 2 months ago You tube decided that me clicking on one video about the cats in the game meant I wanted to see Astarion. Videos like this made me cave and buy it with my next paycheck

It’s also so irresponsible to have an easily infiltrated “camp” raising young children within when you hunt sentient monsters that could attack at any time. What did they expect exactly? Their children simply being turned into spawn is one of the least of the terrible things that could’ve happened to them.

​@@waimarieheap5608Astarion infiltrating it doesn't mean it was 'easy', with Cazador's backing he was a force to be reckoned with. Either way, all defences are static and reactive, attackers get to scout the ground first and choose when to attack, Durlag's Towefr (BG1) was meant to be safe and secure, it was turned into a slaughterhouse.

@@FenrirWolfganger They don’t receive any additional powers when Cazador compels them. I wouldn’t call Astarion strong enough to solo the Gur camp. There’s only 7 spawn Cazador uses and he uses them because they’re attractive people who can seduce unwitting victims - not because they’re fighters. I’m assuming Astarion and the others may have used stealth to steal the children. But if that’s the case, those “scouts” and “lookouts” failed spectacularly.

I agree. I did this on my last campaign. You can leave it for the next time, but it does fit AA a lot... a bit of arrogance and a lot of blood 🍷🌹👌

You are welcome of course! And you have a right. The emotions are so well shown in their faces. Many people don't think like that , but I see it so much in most dialogs... the face expressions just make the whole dialog deeper and more meaningful 😇

I honestly think this is the best outcome for Astarion. One could make an argument for letting the Spawns go... but as Astarion himself points out, they've been left to starve since their turning. For some of them, that's nearly two centuries of starvation, whereas Astarion and the other six have that time in experience _controlling_ their hunger. Even sending them into the Underdark, 7000 starving vampires? No. Ending their torment is for the best... and it means Astarion doesn't feel obligated to watch over the legacy of his slavery to Cazador. He's truly free from his past. Free to do something new with his life, and take it in a direction of his own choosing.

You are very welcome my dear friend! At some point I became a little numb towards feelings and just started doing the dialogs for science and for you guys. But of course, when you actually play, it's not very nice to kill 7000 vampies 🙈🤭🤷‍♀😅

I also was not sure about him in the very very beginning when I started. I romanced Karlach and he was just some posh spoiled princess that eventually tried to bite me. They did this character very well... and their face expressions... man... some people say that the expressions are not well made, but in some scenes they are enough to make you cry indeed... I'm gonna cry with you now! 🙈

for my 1000 hours I have spoken to the kids twice. It's the one thing that I can't really bare as a parent of a 4yo. I spoke once in the very beginning of my bg3 journey and a second time to make the video. That will be that! 😊🙈

I agree that the trauma that they show is very well done and written to portrait situations like this. I am sending you hugs and strength! But at the end of the day this is a game and we all can make any choices we want, right. In a single player game. I am just showing some for the people who will never choose them.

Bite scene took me completely by Surprise, because apparently I'm just kinda oblivious. I thought he was just an unusually pale drow, with his silver hair and red eyes. I did not notice fangs or his neck AT ALL, lol.

Well now it makes sense. I was wondering why there was an option to say it attacked first, because i clicked it without animal speaking which just auto kicked it after the narrator made sure i understood how cute it was. I was like dude, they were right there a crit 20 deception roll couldn't even save you

@@MJ-mp1fx OMG! THE SAME! When the game came out I was new to dnd rules and how the elfs and drow should look and I was told that red eyes are normal and you can have any skin you want. So pale elf was like ... the scandinavian elf to me... just with a pale skin... lol 😅🤷‍♀🙈

You can shop it from Damon or the other vendor in the Grove. If they don't have it there, try with the Zhentarim trader. I am sure I bought some from vendors in act 1 above ground, so just try them all and you will get it

I agree... the companions barely react to any of our endings as a durge... it's just empty and sad... and we are alone in the end... I guess this is how it's meant to be

Yep, so true. And you can see both points of view and why both act that way. All of them are bound and even Tav I guess if you play DU as was originally meant to be, then all of us would be bound to something and would want to remove the chains... or "grow to love them" ...

Karlach's optimism is still intact as her service was 10 years or so (which is still a long time, nothing to snuff at), her duties were that of a weapon Zariel wielded, rather than a sex slave to lure victims. I don't like comparisons, but Karlach didn't constantly have her master at her backside with the intent on physically breaking her spirit. Astarion had his optimism beaten, tortured, and abused out of him for over 200 years. I wonder if Karlach would eventually give into apathy or pessimism if her enslavement had lasted as long?

​@@resonatingloNo. Everyone has limits. If they are realistically written, that is. Aside from the infernal contraption, her time in Avernus didn't challenge her much, she could keep her values. If all the things that were done to Astarion, were done to Karlach, either her obsolete peasant morality would have crumbled, or she would have killed herself. One or the other. There is no third option. Either the person will discard values that are harming them, or they will not be able to survive.

I often save before a conversation and just run through the whole of it. Sometimes I find really deep and interesting things in the options we would never choose... and then I make those vids that people love/hate me about 😊😅🤷‍♀️

Haha... but I am not sure I agree ... Maybe a little expressions... but you can't say no expressions. It is clear what her expression on her face is... I've played this scene a thousand times, Tav has expressions, just not the right one that we will expect. 😅 Also they have to fit Tav's expression is a few dialog options, so I can see why they did it

Sebastian gets mad in most of this dialog options and curses him. He is extremely irritated as you can see. So If you are careful with the dialog it doesn't happen. But somehow it happened to me the first two campaigns I got and I thought that always happens. That Sebastian always curses you no matter what. And then on the third playthrough I saw that you can avoid getting cursed 🙈🤷‍♀

omg, I got cursed, but I didn't notice why this happened and when, now it all makes sense :D

@@stavitzin Same, I got cursed and started the fight and thought the curse comes from the fight somehow and then on my second playthrought when I got there I got cursed again and saw that Sebastian does it and you can clean it if you are prepared, or not get it at all

Yes, if you have a cleric or someone using it. The first two times I got it, I was with Laezel, Karlach and Astarion and a Tav Bard who had no idea that there are spells for that :D

Yep and it f-s you very bad in the fight ahead and if you don't have a cleric to heal it and you cant tp back, because you can't when you are down there, it gives you hollat of trouble. The first two times I was down here I got it and thought it always happens. That Sebastian always curses you. And then on my next campaign I saw that you can avoid the curse if you are very careful with Sebastian, so he doesn't get too angry and curse you

@@resonatinglo Wow. Apparently, I'm a very kind person, since I didn't get this debuff in my first playthrough 😅 I felt very sorry for everyone who was locked in cages. And Astarion's reaction was 💔 I didn't think it was possible to anger the captives in any way. Take a note for the next evil playthrough 👌

@@MsPumpkinOwl I play durge and on my first ever campaign I was in multi-player with a friend, so we had Astarion, but I didnt do the choices 😅 I don't think I am not a kind person, but sometimes it's not up to you 🤷‍♀ or maybe I am not, if this is the criteria 😊🙈

@@resonatinglo just seems cruel to promise them that then kill them lol. but in the end even if i didn't choose those options i kinda did do that in a way same with the Gurr who i encountered on accident. To be fair though i gave the old woman the chance to turn back saying he was the lesser evil before standing with him.

@@heathers4825 I am trying not to give opinions at this point about what you should or should not do. This game is a single player for a reason and no one will know if you have killed them all or if you have saved them all. Or just do both. There is F5 and F8 for a reason 😅
