  • Forcing Cazador to beg opens a few more dialogs that still show us what worm he is , but the narrator leaves us no choice despite our rolls of success, we still finish him in the end.

Check out my other videos if you are curious for different scenes. Let me know if you are curious for any scene that you can't find and I will post it for you. I've recorded pretty much all conversations with Astarion.
Also I have to say that the actors in this game are amazing!

I like that Astarion said many times that Cazador likes to tease people with hope and take it away at the last moment, and how he gives it back to him here))) The moment of such powerful catharsis, I would make an origin playtrough just for it but I don't have possibility now😅so thank you for doing my day❤❤❤

Aww, thank you as well for commenting and the support. I did 3 Astarion origin campaigns every time going a different thing here - ascend, spawn and letting him live and it's just a strange to come back to a Tav and hear his voice.
I think about the power and tease that maybe that's why you can choose to "Let him live" but you still have the option to just stab him afterwords... interesting

I can't believe it! Cazador is really begging! Although Astarion and others are nothing more than worms for him, dirt under his feet.
The words “I raised you well” sound, I don’t know, awful, monstrous.
Thanks you for both videos. Very interesting! Although I miss Neil's voice a bit, his emotions.

I could not believe that he will be begging as well... it's interesting that we can choose "Let him live" but then we can't and only can stab him ...

@@resonatinglo A couple of thoughts about it)
Even if there was some minimal chance that Astarion would release his master, Cazador himself destroys this chance.
I hear the condescension with which he says: it's NOT YOU above all this, it's ME who raised you so well. I think Astarion immediately remembers all the techniques and examples of this RAISING - and the player has no choice.
Or everything is simpler, and Astarion is trolling Cazador before his death. And in fact there is no chance of mercy. The death of Cazador is Astarion's main goal. He began to have doubts about the ascent. But he was ready to die trying to kill his master. It was in your recent video😊

@@SmthngEff he is probably just trolling him indeed... I guess it's funny that they have added it like that, but it makes sense for Astarion to be teasing Cazador back

One thing that's also possible in an Astarion Origin playthrough is you can carve the runes into his back and then stab him. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Hmm... I maybe didn't see it as an option. Next time 🤷‍♀

@@resonatinglo you have to take the necessary steps to make it possible to complete the ritual (i.e. getting the scroll from Vellioth's jaws, getting information from Dalyria and Petras, learning about your scars.) Then you should be able to pass a check to remember exactly how your scars were carved into you and then carve them into him. Alternatively if you have Minthara and/or Sharran Shadowheart in your party one of them will offer to connect to you via the tadpole and show you the scars so you can copy it that way without a check.

@@emmasilver2332 Oh, I've done that, but Lae'zel offered to help me with her eyes. I forgot about it, I did it for the ascended Astarion lol. Video should be up tonight probably :D

It is more delicious to not stop at the carving, and actually let Astarion ascend. But just letting Cazador feel some serious pain for the first time in many centuries, that goes a long way.

You promised us Cazador begging and you provided it. Thank you, it was good both to see and also to see even then his grandiosity and, well, plain evilness.
I will NOT ask for the "Walk away" option because that leaves post game Astarion hiding in fear of Cazador and that's not a fate I can bear... I'd still watch it again but that's like watching Sirius Black being killed again😢

    • @resonatinglo
      @resonatinglo  Před 2 měsíci +3

I have the walk away option but with a non origin. I don't think it would matter a lot... the ending will probably be the spawn ending with the strange cave and face at the end. I have it a few weeks back if you haven't seen it.
As for the "you promised and delivered" I always deliver if it's not a big compilation that will take me a week to gather footage for. 😅
If it's just a scene I can probably load close to it and record it. Ever since my channel grew to have only BG3 content and mainly Astarion actually, I just do hard saves when I remember during each run, so I can go back on a DU or any Tav or some Origins if needed to almost all of Astarion's scenes. So it is no problem to take 1 hour of my day to go and play it, edit it and upload it for you. 😊
Thank you as well for the support and help on the matter! Appreciate it a lot! 🖤🔥🌹

Yep. I usually go to the Cazador fight at 10 and a half and get 11 from the fight
