- Dark Urge decides their faith. 2 different endings shown. One for when you love Astarion and one when you are just so strong that you can end the suffering before it happens.
00:00 - If DU goes to prison (romanced Astarion)
07:59 - If DU ends themselves (Secret ending with Withers unlocked)

My durge in honour mode didn't get a choice with bhaal... her wild magic turned her into a sheep just before Orin died. Karlach ended Orin and accidentally doomed her lover as well.

Yes, they all are honestly. DU endings are just hard to watch and do frankly... there is a morally good ending, but it's still hard 😩🖤

@@FenrirWolfganger The narrator says differently, but they all end the same way. I have another video with them, about Astarion's lost love and how you still feel that you love him deep down, but the urge and killing is overwhelming and the end is the same
Why they did this? Wither organized the party just for the slaughter?
Sometimes I remember the scrapped ending for DU- the punishment was too traumatizing even for BG3 😭
I think they did a really good job portraying what can happen... it's all up to the player tho

@@dominika3762 There was an ending where if DU "failed" as a chosen, Bhaal used them as breeding stock for more Bhaalspawn. The prison ending kinda talks about it but they significantly toned down the "graphic" parts

Why Withers let Durge free and let to get to the party and slaughter everyone? And I guess 10 heroes can kill any crazy Bhaaspawn, especially Astarion, he can see in the dark, has better hearing, can smell.

@@katiatall I agree, but maybe when the Bhaalspawn went to the heroes Withers just send them into the green portal as well... just gave them a chance for redemption... but durge was too mad
Kinda wished they added more scenes after the Durge ended themselves, such as spawn Astarion's reaction after night falls. Or maybe one of your companions end Durge's suffering while they remain in prison
I agree... the companions barely react to any of our endings as a durge... it's just empty and sad... and we are alone in the end... I guess this is how it's meant to be

Withers delight when you beg him to unalive you is ❤ I think he hoped you'd a better chance with the urges.
Withers is such an amazing character and I do feel him as my Grandpa, especially playing as Durge, resist or mad... he is there for us to help with whatever he can
I'm confused about the first one. So you killed orin and said you'll embrace Bhall legacy? Why does say you have rejected him? When I rejected Bhall after fight with Orin I had a really good ending
Those endings you get if you haven't killed Orin, but let her kill you and then your party kills her and then Bhaal resurrects you and curses you to have urges, but not be part of Bhaal and his minions 😩
I could be wrong but I think you also get this ending if you accept Bhaal but destroy the netherbrain.
@@ninab2509 I think you don't... but not sure, but I always destroy the brain and have done 2 Bhaal Durges and I have never gotten this one... If you kill the Netherbrain while being Bhaal's minion, you just continue doing Bhaal's work in the city...
