- After playing so much of this game, it's time to get spicy with Astarion and see what happens if we pick the worst options! And I did it so you don't have to!

I absolutely LOST IT when you literally sell him out to the Gur tribe - and you get Astarion INSPIRATION for it. That is PEAK comedy

That "I'll kill you all" had conviction behind it. It triggered a rather painful memory by association and it punched me in the gut.

The 2nd scene happened to me last night lol!! Im playing a bard who is totally sus of the illithid powers, and I laughed sm when he got mad lol!
Same 😂 in my second or third playthrough I got his option. His sass is off the charts

The second cut scene Aurora actually did tell Astarion that and he said the exact same thing. Then at the end where he asks if she wants something she tells him he can fed from her tonight and his tune changed rather quickly 🤭 She knows how to get on his good side even when he doesn't agree with her. 😌😏
The last cut scene I need to do in a different playthrough just to hear Astarion say that 🥴
For the last cutscene, just f8 it and continue as normal 😉🫣

Gotta give him that, even he was inspired by how you turned on him, doubt the others would be inspired by your treachery, but he is. Even if he is pissed he respect that you double crossed him good enough to get experience. I love him so much I would never be able to sell him to the Gur though I always keep him in my party permanently. XD On the other hand I have no problem killing Wyll and Gale before actually being properly introduced to them (like letting Gale in his portal and Wyll to get killed in tha first Goblin fight in front of the Grove when he first shows up I tend to off him and Aradin's group it's not a problem I can swipe the letter for the Nightsong's mission from Aradin's corpse everytime without issues, you just need to loot his comrades fast before you get caught for thieving), if I keep them alive it's mostly to get extra experience from their inspiration, and for Wyll to go to hell once I kill Mizora (I do evil runs that's why and Astarion is one of my most supportive allies alongside Minthara and Lae'Zel, Shadowheart too sometimes) so that's why.
I love that so much! I do mostly evil runs as well. I pissed off Astarion here when I was exploring the dialog and of course I recorded it and reloaded it immediately 😅. I usually just kill Wyll in that fight. Gale I take sometimes , but not always. If I am a DU I always cut his hand and never take him.
If I need a wizard or buffs I just respec any of the other companions. But mainly walk with Astarion Karlach and Lae'zel and just respec all to what I want to try for the moment!

For 2:07 I took third option and still got the same response 😂 oh I was thinking about him while doing my rounds at the party 😏
Some options repeat the answer... sometimes I mark it, but sometimes its just funny/sad for the options we choose to get the same responce 🫣🤷♀️

I picked some of these options and got dialoge iver never gotten this playthrough i have a enemy ro lovers thing going on and im loving it he actually likes it when your not always suck up to his ass 😂

Listen, when you are a good character and realize... Well fuck I just turned my best vampire friend into an irredimable, power hungry monster. Killing him is a mercy. Reloading the save is a correct answer, but still some dramatic people who will without a doubt lecture me about the importance of not save scumming in an RPG will default to killing them
Mercy? Because he unmasked and you can see him stronger and more confident( if still overwhelmed by the energies of the ritual and drawing a few inaccurate conclusions). With friends like this....who needs enemies.
I would say that I've done both ... all... there is not a right and wrong way. Its all roleplay and personal preference...
No one should tell you if you should kill him or reload , or use his wolfs in the brain battle 🦇🖤🤌

@@nightmareraven3045 Politicians sacrifice a lot more than that all the time in wars and forced vaccination programmes. Their voices remain loud and clear. The same goes for my own voice, loud and clear.
The mad ferals are beyond help in most cases, too far gone. They are also legally and socially dead, not missed by anyone. No one outside of the castle Czarr employees and the adventuring party even knows of them. Some likely even have proper gravestones in the Baldurian cemetery. Whether they are innocent or guilty is irrelevant. Better to release them in the Lower City to feed on beggars and refugees? Or compete with each other and starve in the Underdark since they have no other weapons than their teeth and have never been taught how to hunt or manage their hunger, so they can hunt the tougher species that make the Underdark their home? Doesn't sound like a winning strategy either way. They are too many and they cannot be trusted ( as they blame Astarion and the other spawn siblings for what they had to facilitate as mind-controlled vampire spawn).Releasing them would be peak insanity- the poster child move for pathological altruism.
The only ones I feel bad for are the other six spawn siblings, since they had the training he had and can manage their condition. But they would have done the same to Astarion if they had been in his shoes. Tymora's roll of the dice...I have no personal attachments to any of them and would choose to give Astarion a better life and true freedom any day.
Of course my characters are not good-aligned, neither is my real life chaotic neutral self.
Virtue signalling doesn't make your voice more important. Man-made morality is a population control tool like many others. Each voice is one voice, no more and no less.

What the... At 2:16 i've chosen the same line but i got totally different answer from Astarion...
It depends on romance, approval and what you have been telling him before that. There are so many hidden lines that many people wont see because you need the specific setting to get them. That's why I am here... trying to recreate all possible dialogs and have my channel as an archive for Astarion's story and character 🍷🌹
@@resonatinglo that drives me mad.. I really want to see them all, but for now all I can do it's just to choose all lines in the dialogs that I get. I want to get Astarion approval but it hurts me deeply to destroy the druids grove so I tried to do it other way. And I think that I will not be able to refuse Halsin's request in future walkthroughs. After all, he's one hunk of an elf that also drives me crasy...
@@MadSnusmumrik I understand. Plus you can't have them all in one campaign anyway. I am building this archive for the past 8 months, so it will take you some time to see them all if you wanna play it as well
