Aurora did both of these too. She would have let the dino go but was worried it would eat NPCs. It didn't seem like a bad dino. She went back and talked to him again after the clown fight, and thanked her because he was being starved by the others and almost hurt those good caretakers he thinks of as family. The cat while she understood why it was upset, Aurora didn't want her to hurt NPCs either and it seemed to want to destroy everyone. I love speak with animals. Very useful and fun.
It's probably a bug/oversight, but if you open the Displacer Beast's cage prior to watching Dribbles' show (you'll need to be sneaky as doing this will annoy the nearby animal handlers), it strangely just runs off and is never seen again. XD So, if you wanted to spare it but also not have it attack civilians, that's one possible route you could take.
@@Zaxares Oh thank you for letting me know that. I might try that next time. Maybe after feeding the dino try to let it lose too but it seemed content living there with the original circus members.

I let the kitty go and she ran away. I tried to let the dino go but he just wanted to chill in the cage.
Didn't the kitty attack you later in the fight if you let her go?
@resonatinglo Nope. I let her go before I did the clown fight. And she just straight up dipped.

On an Origin campaign, they don't speak of course. I'm sorry if it felt like a click bait. The skill is called "Speak with animals" , that's why it's titled that way
