Hook is my favorite monster design of this particular game. It's so repulsive and that thing it uses as its tail is one of it's legs. That's so disturbing, I never would have thought to draw something like that.

Thank you so much for uploading this series. I LOVE seeing all the puppetry and theater that goes into a beautifully presented game. EDIT: Come to thnk of it, Yoko Taro has background in and actively creates for the theater. I'll bet he sees games as another form of theater. That would explain why his works feel so different and unique from others of the genre.

The desert used to be a forest so presumably the barren temple used to have a lot of greenery inside and had water flowing through it instead of sand. So the mural could just be representing that, it could also potentially be a depiction of Sleeping Beauty/the terminal.

So Accord is trying to stop the timelines from sort of collapsing yes? So im wondering when do we see the end? Like when is all of this going to cultivate into overarching story? As well at what point does everything come full circle like when do you think we will see Accord being made since we know she comes from the Nier timeline.
We are going to get a NieR 4 at some point and I suspect it will be the last game and tie everything up. Yoko Taro is getting old and the finale of reincarnation has set everything up for a game about accord and the revival of humanity.
@@iamcaim that's what scares me about it , I'm afraid that it might end up going the Drakengard 3 route where it's just a confusing mess to anyone not too caught up in the lore , I'm hoping it ends up tying the lore nicely but doing it more gracefully like how other NieR games did where the core story is still good even if you know nothing about previous games

That would be extremely cool, but also very creepy. But I doubt it's her, because her insanity doesn't seem like something that can be healed.
