I didn't dislike the text, but the AI voice is a pretty good alternative. AI has come a long way because it sounds exactly like someone who loves doing hour long explanations in true crime videos.
Wow, would you ever consider doing an iceberg video about the Nier franchise? I thought I was pretty well informed but then I stumbled upon your channel and suddenly it feels like a whole new world is opening up
Is there a specific iceberg image you're talking about? I made one myself when I was bored about a year ago but didn't really post it anywhere, so I guess I could touch it up and put it on the twitter at some point. That said I think explaining my own iceberg as a video would be kind of obnoxious, so once I have my next few videos out I guess I could make a video listing small details, theories etc?

Holy shit, so much stuff is explained in just 4 minutes video. Louise WAS a bioweapon? The original Kaine ALSO a weapon? And Louise actually tried to sing a FREAKING BLACK SONG? Holy sheeeeee-
It's from the Replicant CD drama. The original Kaine was an experiment made using the DNA of Kaali (Replicant Kaine's adopted grandmother) and Kaali's husband, with data on Legion thrown in to make her a living weapon. Her being an experiment is the reason why the gestalt terminal makes a mistake and produces a hermaphrodite replicant, it's also why replicant Kaine is so strong and can jump 20 meters into the air etc.
@@iamcaim I knew that she was a hermaphrodite due to the error you explained. I also remembered her being an experiment, and possibly the model for YorHA units. However I was unaware of the legion aspect. Also was Tyrann possessing her a coincidence or all part of the plan?
@@Dimentioxx Tyrann possessing her was just a coincidence, there's a lot of twists of fate like that in the game, Like how replicant Kaine was adopted by the replicant based on her actual grandmother. The thing about the YoRHa units is a fan theory that's based on a misunderstanding over the YoRHa stageplay, I think it's definitely false.
@@iamcaim While the theory that A2 was based on Kaine is likely just false, I don't think that necessarily means Kaine and Nier weren't particularly used to model the androids, the administrative system has records that span far into the past, it's not that unlikely that their combat data might have been used to help produce the combat model androids, possibly YorHa models too but by their time, they should have already had better data to use, plus the YorHa project itself was still a tool to gather data.
I watched it, though personally I didn't really get anything out of it as it's essentially a recap video which ignores a lot of stuff. it has its audience though and I'm sure it took a lot of time to make and if it gets people interested in the series that's a good thing. That said there are some things he said that are plain wrong and because of his video there's now going to be even more people who think A2 and Kaine are connected (they aren't). I'm going to have to make a video on it because it's a theory that seems to be treated by the fanbase as gospel when it's provably false and seems to be the result of a misunderstanding over a fan translated summary of the stage play.
@@iamcaim yea I saw some definite misconceptions and the guy almost entirely ignored reincarnation despite how important it is to the whole narrative except for yuzukis EX story with red eye. And the whole kaine-A2 thing was definitely a stretch not to mention he completely ignored Drakengard 3's true ending. I know making those super long videos is his thing but he should have done a lot of research on each game and dropped them individually then at the end put them all together. I can't wait to see your next video! You always do such a good job and your theories are always pretty sound.
@@Kai_2053 We see gestalts fuse together to create Wendy and Goose, and in the mermaid novella Kaine says that Hook was also a fusion of gestalts, which is why it was insane and could spit baby gestalts out of it's body.
