@Andrew, don't you think it is strange for Lenovo not to send the variant with haptic touchpad for review? Same story for x1 carbon and now this one (except for z13/16 which come with haptic touchpad only).

The only thing this laptop lacks for 100% happiness is no 2-in-1 design and no pen support. In this respect, I would lean towards the HP Spectre x360, but I am willing to sacrifice this functionality for Dell, planning to purchase the XPS 9440 in July. Why? Because I don't trust any other brand. Only Dell offers such great durability, stability and, above all, EXTRAORDINARY WARRANTY SERVICE! It is not without reason that most global corporations use Dell equipment.

Just got the Zenbook 14 with a RTX 3050 45w. It beats the GTX 1060 6GB laptop I had before and is a massive efficiency upgrade. With ray tracing off, it it pretty much somewhere in between a GTX 1060 and a GTX 1660.

Question, Dell is telling me I can add an HDD for backup but only up to 4TB total including the ssd. So if I get an 2TB SSD they are saying max HDD is 2TB. Can anyone tell me why this would be? Doesn't seem like anything would hold back a 4TB or larger.

Love the Thinkbook. Wonder who it will compare with the Asus Zenbook 14. Love Lenovo but they use the in the past the Thinkpads T or X1 use a lower U processor.

I do wish the 120hz display was more widely available. I don't really care about resolution - 1080p has always been fine with me on smaller, portable devices. I just wish the 120hz was available on Thinkpads that didn't cost this much.

Thank you for your videos as always! I preordered the 13x and I've had it for 2 weeks now. Build quality, sound quality, performance everything about it is almost perfect. I also got the haptic trackpad option. The only thing I was disappointed at was Lenovo introduced it as being super lightweight but then released couple of different variants and sadly the magnesium model is not available and it also looks like that model you cant really spec it with everything. So for being more closer to 3lbs for a 13inch kind of ruined it for me coming from the Slim 7i Carbon being just over 2lbs.

what is the lifetime of this Laptop? I bought a DELL Laptop in 2019 and it just makes updates all the time and 512GB is used so quickly. Would you suggest this or a Macbook Pro with a M3 chip? I need a laptop for content creation - eg. Video + Image editing, music production, coding and browsing. But when I spend over $3K then I want to use the laptop for at least 8 years. Can someone advice please

Which one did you like better Yoga Pro 9i or Zephyrus G16? In my case both with the same specs core ultra 9, 32gb ram, rtx 4060. The Yoga has the touch Mini-LED while the G16 has the OLED. The G16 is around 100$ more expensive. Thanks Andrew, appreciate it!

what is up with hp and there hinges? If i were to buy one would you say there is a good chance the hinge will break? Especially if as a student i am folding over laptop frequently so use the tablet mode.

Great review as alwyas. For Envy intel version of both 14 and 16 models, strangely, HP is offering both Core Ultra U series and H series and that's making things a bit confusing to pick the correct one. You probably should do another review of the 14" model with 125H or 155H .

Touch screen was expected

Well we will have to compare it with godzilla in order to come to a conclusion. One of the core issue with windows is that they are made for coding .The media centric approach is way beyond than their immigination. Moreover app are not well optimized .though you try to use browser some how it lack in terms of handling the content . Battery backup is another concern .12 to 24 hoursback up is expected specially when you are traveling. The another issue with the glossy display is that when you are outside reflection make the user experience worst. Keyboard for example backligh and full size add value . In short we looking for a complete package that will justify the user experience.
