Thanks for re-running and reposting the benchmarks. I see about 12% more power going to the GPU while gaming after the BIOS update. So clearly HP tweak the PL1/PL@ substantially in some scenarios. Also nice to see how much of a step up the 4050 is vs the 3050. And with Frame Generation in games it is a quantum leap. Loving my x360 16". Bought it mostly based on your original review.

Im considering this device now. Has the battery efficiency improved after the bios update? And what do you think about the new version of the 2024 yoga 2in 1 with the ultra 7 155U processor? Any plans on reviewing that model soon perhaps?

how to get full performance when on battery, any option or charge the battery maximum 80%
I'm getting mine tomorrow. Couldn't do the 14 because it lacked HDMI, a dGPU, and the 14 with 32 GB of RAM was more expensive than the 16 that was on sale with a dGPU and 32 GB of RAM, albeit the 14 had a 2 TB SSD compared to the 1 TB SSD on the 16, but that is replaceable, unlike the dGPU and RAM.

The update is nice, but in regards to your scoring, how does that change? Does your score remain the same, even with the update?

Hi I have this laptop with the rtx model but unable to play games like wwe 2k24 and FC24, it says there is no graphics card for EA FC 24. Can you please help
Do you think the snapdragon x elite will be a significant enough upgrade to where meteor lake laptops will get left behind once it comes out?
Probably not. Everybody is hyping up Qualcomm way too much when there hasn't been any proof that it'll be good. And given Qualcomm is fighting with ARM Holdings, maybe ARM's not the future?
I really wanted this but without dgpu. Tried the arc version but it doesn't come with oled. Really disliked that ips screen, brightness was pretty bad. I'm bummed because I absolutely love that keyboard. I guess I'll just keep the gb4p even though I don't like that keyboard much but the screen is more important to me.
In your opinion, were these updates (especially BIOS) started by Intel, and therefore the improvements will hit other manufacturers also such as Asus, Lenovo and Samsung? That's not to dismiss what HP did here. Maybe the Meteor Lake has more growing pains than usual due to its new architecture.

Could you please review the MacBook Pro, M3 pro chip, version? The base version with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. I think it's the best value for money Apple laptop.

Same here. It was on a massive sale for the same specs as the first replier and mine actually came with the RTX 4050.

Direct competitor to HP Spectre x360 16 OLED 2024 is I think LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 16 OLED 2024. Unfortunately it doesn’t have discrete graphics card like LG Gram Pro 16 OLED 2024. I think it is much more tablet-like and holdable. No one is reviewing it.
The 16 does have an optional 4050- shown in the video
@@AikaroMusic I am talking about the 2-in-1 version of LG Gram Pro 16. It doesn't have the RTX 4050 option. The one that has RTX option is not convertible. HP Spectre x360 is convertible.
