Where do you learn to alterate and painting?

I love the Lorwyn lands, they collectively make panoramas if you line them up.

Please help me with yellow. It has no opacity and takes so many layers to get the color right.

If you are just getting started I would recommend looking at student paints (like liquitex basics), and slowly replacing with higher quality pigments over time if this is something you end up loving. Though totally depends on the art you are making! I prefer artist grade paints because I use a limited pallete and rely on color mixing, but do supplement with lower quality pigments to save money.

You're so talented! 😊 I'm just now getting into painting my pokemon cards. Are there any tips you could give me? My issue is that I may need to use a better brand of acrylic, but I'm not sure which ones to choose from? I try to paint on the card, and the paint barley sticks. It's super easy to wipe off, and it takes a lot of layers to get a base coat down. Do I need to prime it in some way by sanding it, or do you just start painting on yours? 😊 Can I also use Mod Podge after to protect the paint?
